Who's Really Making It?

[edit]

Are the developers BioWare in general, or Mythic Entertainment? Lacon432 (talk) 21:28, 15 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

That's a very interesting question. The Mythic branding has been removed from the official Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning website (and Warhammer Online: Wrath of Heroes) and Dark Age of Camelot websites, following their redesigns, and there is no Mythic branding on Ultima Forever's website. Ultima Online's official website appears to be the only active Mythic game that still has Mythic branding (and the branding is tiny at that), but that website has not received it's redesign yet. Nowhere in the actual Ultima Forever press release itself is Mythic mentioned, just EA, Play4Free, and BioWare. In the interview with Kotaku, Paul Barnett stated "And we're giving this generation the best BioWare Ultima that we can." Making this more confusing, the people who are working on Ultima Forever all identify themselves as being with BioWare Mythic, including Paul Barnett who has given the majority of interviews about Ultima Forever. The first official EA executive to mention Ultima Forever publicly was Eugene Evans, who is in charge of BioWare Mythic. Texwikiuser (talk) 03:30, 16 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
