It was also very short so expand.
Also it needs a lot of reference.

The Impact:Philippines section technically needs update. I've already heard and seen of casualties of Emong (Chan-hom). Pangasinan police report it at 12, if I'm not mistaken. -Pika ten10 (talk) 13:13, 8 May 2009 (UTC)
It all needs updating and its going to be a bugger to sort out the impact since i make it 6 Countries affected by Chan-hom (Korea Japan Vietnam Phillipines China Taiwan) Jason Rees (talk) 14:36, 8 May 2009 (UTC)

Affected???
[edit]How come one say that "Six countries - Vietnam, Philippines, China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan - were affected by the storm."? I couldn't see any impact, at least indirect (e.g. a tail of the typhoon brought heavy rain over at least a region in Japan or China or Taiwan.) on countries other than the Philippines and Vietnam. Please clarify this matter immediately. I agree it needs updating, but limit it to impact over the Philippines, particularly those in Northern Luzon. -Pika ten10 (talk) 06:50, 9 May 2009 (UTC)
Because the JMA was forecasting that Chan-hom was going into move up into the korean penisular in its five day forecast yesterday. However it doesnt look like it will happen now.Jason Rees (talk) 14:17, 9 May 2009 (UTC)
