Quick question about subscriber counts
[edit]As the heading suggests, I'm dropping by because I'm curious about the justification of including TommyInnit's secondary/tertiary channels for his total subscriber count, and if such a justification can be applied to Technoblade (again).
Thanks in advance. Cheers, u|RayDeeUx (contribs | talk page) 20:43, 6 March 2023 (UTC)

- Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. M.Bitton (talk) 08:35, 10 July 2023 (UTC)

Factual error: The money from the book is being donated to Sarcoma UK (not the Sarcoma Foundation Of America'. The source cited is incorrect. I work for Sarcoma UK.
Remove: All of the sales money from the book is being donated to the Sarcoma Foundation of America in honour of Simons' and Gold's late friend Technoblade
Replace with: All of the sales money from the book is being donated to Sarcoma UK in honour of Simons' and Gold's late friend Technoblade
Thank you,

- Done. I have been able to track down a clip of Simons actually saying this is in one of his streams, so I have added this information to the article. Thank you. (Will also ping @Spintendo: to let them know). Strugglehouse (talk) 19:48, 31 May 2024 (UTC)

[edit]- The provided Sarcoma UK source page gives much information about the subject's role as an ambassador for the organization, but says very little about the published book and its royalties (which is the main thrust of the COI edit request).
- What little the source does state about the book is curiously vague. The Sarcoma UK page states
"TommyInnit, whose real name is Tom Simons, has kindly donated all of his share of advances and royalties from his Sunday Times bestselling book TommyInnit Says…The Quote Book."
The claim ends there, in an incomplete sentence, in that it does not state to whom the recipient of the donated monies is. - To add this statement to the article would necessitate adding a
{{to whom}}
inline template. As this is an unacceptable compromise, I've declined the edit request pending better clarifying secondary sources.

Tommy and Tubbo's marriage
[edit]Tubbo has confirmed on his own stream that he and Tommy were legally married (they had an ordained minister and signed marriage documents). This should be added to Tommy's page, but people keep reverting my edit because Tubbo's own words aren't a "reliable source." This is as primary of a source as we can get, and yet people are against this being added to the page. Phineas1500 — Preceding undated comment added 17:02, 12 October 2023 (UTC)
- I'm reading into what is needed to get legally married in the UK, and here is all I've noticed: They both can get married, they meet all requirements for that. There are four very important things you need to bring in order to be legally married, so someone's going to have to check with tubbo about whether he had those things. We are also unaware as to whether or not they gave a notice. in the UK, a 29 day+ notice in required to allow you to marry someone legally. But other than that, they held a ceremony and had all of the people they needed I believe. that's my 3 cents :D 2600:4040:B504:B300:B0A6:F7D9:A438:E839 (talk) 00:15, 25 October 2023 (UTC)
- I don't know everything, but Tommy himself said that they are married
- married, I think that counts as enough proof for 2800:2131:7540:A00:F97C:3A04:A0E:8A8B (talk) 03:01, 6 December 2023 (UTC)
