Tamina Snuka

[edit]

Should'nt she be entitled to her own wikipedia article?(LonerXL (talk) 04:11, 4 January 2011 (UTC))[reply]

Her article was initally deleted per Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Sarona Snuka. It has since been recreated and deleted on several occasions. In order for an article to stick, you'd have to get the 'delete' decision overturned at WP:DRV. NiciVampireHeart 09:12, 4 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Did anyone even have a sensible reason for deleting that??(LonerXL (talk) 07:30, 13 January 2011 (UTC))[reply]
You'd have to ask the people who particiapted in the debate. It's probably important to remember that she hadn't debuted on Raw at the point, however, and had been wrestling for less than two years. NiciVampireHeart 16:52, 16 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned references in The Usos

[edit]
Orphaned references

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of The Usos's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "OWOW":

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 04:52, 24 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Has been remedied. ♥NiciVampireHeart05:05, 29 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

WWE Tag Champions

[edit]

They did beat The Hart Dynasty at Night of Champions. It was not a scramble match. So There Tag title should count. They did hold it for a few minutes --68.81.176.14 (talk) 03:54, 27 September 2010 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.81.176.14 (talk) 03:52, 27 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

No they didn't win the Tag Team Championship. It was a Tag Team Turmoil match, aka a Gauntlet match where only the final team remaining won the championship or is recognised as winning the championship. ♥NiciVampireHeart21:42, 27 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Oh ok. So it is like the scramble match. They where only interm champs for a few minutes but ti doesn't count. My mistake--68.81.176.14 (talk) 20:51, 11 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Santa Claus

[edit]

Was it one of the Usos(Fatus) that was the kid that sat on Santa's lap in December of 1997 just before Stone Cold came down to the ring? TheGary (talk) 13:49, 31 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Theme music

[edit]

Surely the new theme is played after the Siva Tau, thus it succeeds it, not proceeds it? Unless it is actually before it? IanPCP (talk) 20:36, 27 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Alley-Us vs. Alley-Uce

[edit]

I believe that "Alley-Us" is a misspelling of the name of the move. "Uso" means brother in Samoan, and when it's shorten, it's "Uce". So, I think it should be Alley-Uce. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.50.243.151 (talk) 05:40, 21 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Face Paint

[edit]

There's no such thing as "tribal Samoan face paint". — Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.91.188.142 (talk) 03:48, 2 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

He keeps changing it from 2010, when it's clear they were last heels back in 2011. I left a message on his talk page warning him that if he does it again, he'll be reported for vandalism. Describing the Usos

[edit]

@ClassicOnAStick: @JDC808: you two want to hash out how to describe the members of The Usos here? You've gone back and forth on the Battleground article for days. Cjhard (talk) 00:54, 27 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Re: DtU

[edit]

Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso does have better ring to it rather than Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso. When you read both variations, out loud, notice how the former has flow to it, while Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso has limited flow. That is my reasoning of my particular variation. For me, it's all about flow. It has so sound good to listen to. Rewind Wrestling (talk) 01:47, 27 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The names are generally always in parenthesis unless singling out one, so flow is not an issue here as it's in parenthesis and all we're doing is listing their names. I am of the opinion that their names should be alphabetical (which I've mentioned in edit summaries in the past) unless their official tag team name does not have it alphabetically. That is not the case here as their tag team name is The Usos, not Jimmy and Jey Uso. Also, we don't really need both last names when listing them in the parenthesis as both are Uso (same thing with The Hardy Boyz, etc.). P.S. This very article does their names alphabetically. --JDC808 09:17, 27 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@ClassicOnAStick: How many times do we have to go over this? You continuously change the order of the names without giving an edit summary, despite my explanation above and my edit summaries stating that they should be alphabetical. This is getting old. --JDC808 05:47, 5 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Separate articles

[edit]

At what point do these two deserve separate articles? Just curious Kb5694 (talk) 10:08, 17 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I was wondering the same. THE NEW ImmortalWizard(chat) 20:29, 19 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
They really should get separate articles, I've never liked how twins were always forced to have one page. Jimmy has been doing a lot of solo stuff recently too, was featured on Total Divas, etc. They've done enough stuff on their home to get individual pages and have this be a page about the tag team. 174.125.53.181 (talk) 19:03, 10 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

More citations needed

Page Spilt

[edit]

I think it's time to separate the Usos into three pages, Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, & The Usos, since this page is overloaded and might do single runs depending on what happens this upcoming SmackDown. LIJ4EVA (talk) 19:42, 31 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Photo

[edit]

It feels really strange that the photo being used is from 2014, when they havent had that gimmick in 6 years+. Should be fixed, but i don’t know enough about wiki and image rights to do it myself. ThatLoLFanboy (talk) 10:04, 10 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Splitting proposal

[edit]
The following discussion is closed. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section. A summary of the conclusions reached follows.
The result of this discussion was to split, but keep this page as a tag team.Summerslam2022 (talk) 14:38, 13 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Now that Jey and Jimmy Uso is splitting up, and now that this article has grown in length, it's time for this page to be split into 2 new articles: Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso. There isnt that much reasons to not separate the pages anymore, other than they shared very similar careers due to being a tag team for most of their careers. Summerslam2022 (talk) 22:41, 9 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

We can't split the article in two because the tag team was a legitimate tag team rather than an alliance. What we can do, however, is create two separate pages for the Usos. It's high time both Usos receive separate pages. TB Chigz (talk) 10:16, 11 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
That's what i meant, we could keep this page, but create new pages for both Usos. Summerslam2022 (talk) 11:20, 11 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Summerslam2022: You created a proposal for splitting the article. That means deleting this article and creating multiple new ones out of it, not simply creating new articles (which no one can stop you from). I think you misunderstood what splitting means. I'd advise requesting this proposal to be closed since you're not actually proposing a split of the article. Roman Reigns Fanboy (talk) 04:06, 13 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah I feel like each Uso getting their own page is LONG overdue. ToxicRacc (talk) 08:52, 12 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I second the decision, but keep the tag team's page as is while Jimmy and Jey get their own articles. Hansen SebastianTalk 12:22, 12 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Accuracy is disputed at this time.

[edit]

There is a accuracy issue right now on this page. It is over the dates of when The Usos were a tag team. People keep altering it. My opinion on it: They are coming back. If this continues, it may have a factual accuracy being disputed. 2600:1700:9AA2:4540:CC0B:B01A:2ED4:F39F (talk) 00:30, 29 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
