Hi Sebastian, and welcome! Thanks for your additions of Wikilinks and conversion templates, very useful. However, those little " " bits actually serve a purpose, as "no-breaking spaces". Please leave them in from now on. Another interesting bit is that a pipelink to the existing page only has to contain "#B1" (for instance) to link to the appropriate place on the page itself. There are similarities with html and the wikicode, but there are also lots of little quirks. Another note is that anchors are best placed within section headers like this:

=={{anchor|NB|second}}Second generation (NB)==

This protects the anchors from being accidentally moved around, at the cost of some minor annoyance while editing. The anchor has to go before the section title, otherwise the pipelink ends up further down the page and is less helpful. If there is anything I may help you with, please contact me on my talkpage or simply respond here, as I will be watching. Again, welcome and hope to see more of you.  Mr.choppers | ✎  12:29, 10 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Indonesia task force

[edit]

Hallo Hansen, I have made a nomination to make an Indonesian task force for football. The reason for it is to gather some active wikipedia users to improve the articles related to Indonesian football such as competitions, clubs, players and other related articles. The link for the nomination is here. As you have contributed before for Indonesian football articles, I hope you can support the task force proposal. Thank you. Cheers!! Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Your recent edits

[edit]

Please pay more attention to detail in your edits. Some of your recent changes—particularly to the 2016 Japanese, United States, Mexican, Brazilian and Abu Dhabi Grands Prix articles—suggest that you need to read the articles more carefully. This is an example of an edit you made:

"The race will mark the forty-sixth running of the United States Grand Prix, and the thirty-eighth time that the race has been run as a World Championship event since the championship's inception in 1959."

Please note the part that I have put in bold. The sentence clearly relates to the date of the inaugural championship and is intended to put the race into the broader context of the championship and its history; however, you have changed the date to be about the first running of the individual race without making any further edits, and so the statement is factually incorrect. Hence, the sentence should read like this:

"The race will mark the forty-sixth running of the United States Grand Prix, and the thirty-eighth time that the race has been run as a World Championship event since the championship's inception in 1950."

Or, alternatively, like this:

"The race will mark the forty-sixth running of the United States Grand Prix, and the thirty-eighth time that the race has been run as a round of the World Championship in the combined history of the event since its inaugural running in 1959."

However, the first version is preferred. Prisonermonkeys (talk) 11:53, 4 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Please acknowledge that you have received this message. You disregarded my comments, making the edits hours after the above message was posted despite my explicitly outlining why they were incorrect. If you continue to disregard the messages, your edits may be considered disruptive and you may be reported to administrators for further action. Prisonermonkeys (talk) 01:22, 5 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Let me tell you something, the content you edited was false information and my recent edits are factual information. There were no United States, Mexican, Brazilian, or Abu Dhabi Grands Prix in 1950. Meaning your edits are disruptive while mine are factual. You must either acknowledge that you have received this reply or have the admins ban you in advance. Not to be unprofessional, but that's the truth. Hansen Sebastian 12:19, 15 October 2016 (UTC)

You are correct in saying that there were no United States, Mexican, Brazilian or Abu Dhabi Grands Prix in 1950. However, the article does not make this claim. This is the text of the article:
"The race will mark the forty-sixth running of the United States Grand Prix, and the thirty-eighth time that the race has been run as a World Championship event since the inaugural season in 1950."
It is describing the first Formula One World Championship season in 1950—not the first time that the United States Grand Prix was held. It is quite clear that you are not reading the article. Prisonermonkeys (talk) 23:18, 15 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Mojo Rawley with Andre the Giant Trophy.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|CC-by-sa-3.0|GFDL}} (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Non-free rationale for File:Mojo Rawley with Andre the Giant Trophy.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Mojo Rawley with Andre the Giant Trophy.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F6 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. – Train2104 (t • c) 13:09, 5 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Weren't those articles and information I added obvious enough that even contention is not possible? The New Day battled The Usos and The Bludgeon Brothers in a normal triple threat match, not a TLC match. Daniel Bryan's second match on TV, against Rusev and Aiden English, ended in a no-contest when Big Cass, who has been transferred to SmackDown, attacked him. And the Greatest Royal Rumble also included a storyline involving the cruiserweight division. Also since Chad Gable has been transferred to Raw, it is likely that American Alpha will reunite soon when Jason Jordan recovers from his injury. Watch the shows and you'll know why. I feel like a block is not necessary to contest this unsourced addition of new information.

Decline reason:

Nope. You were asked to source your changes, and were previously blocked for failing to do so. One of Wikipedia's core policies is WP:V. This block will give you an opportunity to read that and the associated policies, WP:RS, WP:CITE, and WP:NOR. Yamla (talk) 14:23, 21 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm STATicVapor. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that you unlinked one or more redlinks from Kofi Kingston. Often redlinks can be helpful, so we don't remove them just because they are red. They help improve Wikipedia by attracting editors to create needed articles.

In addition, clicking on the "What links here" special link (in the Wikipedia Toolbox at left) on a missing article shows how many—and which—articles depend on that article being created. This can help prioritize article creation. Redlinks are useful! Please, only remove a redlink if you are pretty sure that it is to a non-notable topic and not likely ever to be created. Thanks! Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of people named William, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page William Adams. Category should NOT have been deleted

[edit]

I don't see this Category:Professional wrestling jobbers could have had been deleted as it was closed as keep https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Categories_for_discussion/Log/2020_July_24#Category:Professional_wrestling during a previous afd meaning is should have been KEPT! Did you not know that it was closed as keep? Also I created it as was not even let known that it was up for deletion. Davidgoodheart (talk) 21:21, 10 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The word "jobber" is subjective, and Wikipedia doesn't allow that. Even legends can become jobbers. It was re-proposed for deletion and turns out the word "jobber" is too subjective in a wiki that aims to be as objective as possible. Your reason that you created the page doesn't justify it should be kept as that can be equated to claiming ownership of a page.
Take your time to read the Wiki rules again, specifically the AfD guidelines. Hope you understand. Hansen SebastianTalk 03:58, 11 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

F1 car images

[edit]

Hi Hansen Sebastian,

I can't help but notice that you recently went through all the 2023 car articles to change the images. You did this shortly after I added the images to the articles for the first time since they were uploaded to the Commons. The only changes you made was to swap the picture to the opposite driver from the one that I had used. This has left me quite bewildered: I can't understand the motivation for the changes.

Can you explain what additional value was added by swapping the pictures from the ones I had used to pictures of the other driver? Can you also explain why you did so for every single article? 5225C (talk • contributions) 12:51, 19 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I wanted to make variety. So I opted to use the cars driven by the alt drivers. For the Red Bulls, most of the images show the car driven by Max Verstappen, yet the main RB16 was shown driven by Alex Albon, and the RB18 by Verstappen. So I made it a pattern and have the RB19 shown being driven by Sergio Perez. Yet the point remains the same: To illustrate the car. Hansen SebastianTalk 04:11, 20 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, forgot about this. Your reasoning still doesn't follow since in about half the cases you switched it away from the "alt drivers". So there's no pattern here. While the general point might be to illustrate the car, there are other considerations: for example, in your haste to swap every image to the opposite driver from the one I had selected, you changed the MCL60 picture to an older version of the car which looks radically different from the newer version, and changed the Alpine A523, Aston Martin AMR23 Ferrari SF-23 to pictures with horrendous lighting. 5225C (talk • contributions) 10:02, 13 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Guess I should change them back then? Hansen SebastianTalk 15:39, 13 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion discussion about Kabar (TV program)

[edit]

Hello Hansen Sebastian, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

While your contributions are appreciated, I wanted to let you know that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Kabar (TV program), should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Kabar (TV program).

Deletion discussions usually run for seven days and are not votes. Our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. The most common issue in these discussions is notability, but it's not the only aspect that may be discussed; read the nomination and any other comments carefully before you contribute to the discussion. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|North8000}}. And don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

Category:2024 in professional wrestling in Massachusetts has been nominated for merging. A discussion is taking place to decide whether it complies with the categorization guidelines. If you would like to participate in the discussion, you are invited to add your comments at the category's entry on the categories for discussion page. Thank you. A tag has been placed on Category:2024 in Azerbaijan motorsport indicating that it is currently empty, and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion. If it remains empty for seven days or more, it may be deleted under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and removing the speedy deletion tag. Liz Read! Talk! 07:49, 2 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Why have you removed the redirect if there is still a long way to go before it being held? Island92 (talk) 08:53, 2 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

There's sufficient info for the GP to not be a redirect, such as Magnussen's one-race ban. Hansen Sebastian (Talk) 08:55, 2 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
