Revising and rewriting major portions

I have reason to believe that this article needs some major reformatting, especially in “Gameplay” and “Plot”. Information that belongs in gameplay is in the plot, even though the “Plot” section should purely be for the scrolling text (in my opinion, feel free to debate). The formatting in general for gameplay is messy, and in need of better organizing of what belongs in what. MonstoBusta2000 (talk) 01:23, 1 June 2019 (UTC)

Starting cleanup and revising sections

this wiki could benefit from some heavy cleanup and polishing in certain areas, as content varies in its quality. expect some edits within the next week regarding the following:

"The Plot": this section is very oddly written and doesn't seem to follow any encyclopedic tone, almost as if it was taken directly from another game description

"Gameplay": goes against the manual of style for video games (MOS:VG) and is written in a way unfriendly to newcomers or those unfamiliar with video games.

"The Battle Cats POP! release": changes for clarity and to correctly attribute citations

"First editions and origins": this doesn't seem notable enough to include in this wiki. if nothing comes up, i'll consider deleting this section.

"Spinoffs": changes for clarity and professional tone, and to add citations

Cat units

Cat units are what you play with, every cat has a cost and you should have enough money to deploy them, for example:(Cat: 75$). There are many types of cats (Normal, Special, Rare, Super Rare, Uber Super Rare and Legend Rares) Normal, most of the Special Cats, some Rare Cats and a few Super Rare Cats are unlocked by completing e specific levels, the other Cats are unlocked by daily stamps or by Rare Tickets. 102.185.117.236 (talk) 16:37, 24 May 2022 (UTC)

Aku Realms petition

The Aku Realms should be added in this wikipedia page as perhaps a side story chapter. The Aku Realms has a whole plot to itself, with the 'cats' ripping the fabric between the Aku Realm's world and their own mortal world, before starting another genocide against the aku enemies, successfully assassinating the "boss" in the end, only to find out that he still lives. There's even a whole intro and ending for the aku realms chapter, just like the ones given to the chapters Empire of cats, Into the Future and Cats of the Cosmos. It also has 49 stages, which is 48+1, just like the other 3 main story chapters with 3 sub chapters having 48 stages each. Qauck (talk) 08:30, 14 August 2022 (UTC)

Cat units

In the game you get normal cats at start but you can get Uber super Rares in the Rare Capsules in the games and in the game it’s just a bit annoying sometimes because of Hyppoh is playing smart so get ready to get assorted cats in Rare Capsules! Meeting new bosses

In Denmark you see Le boin and he is weak however if you use Titan cat as long as you don’t get too many bad guys with Le bion also in Japan after you unlock Gross Cat there is Hippoe in Japan! Final Aku Bad Guy

The final bad guy in Aku realms is a cyclone but aku so it is really tough to defat so try using the Uber super rare or just do your own thing instead so it will get tougher and tougher along the Aku Realms. 95.146.71.64 (talk) 10:24, 10 December 2023 (UTC)

Into the Future

After you complete all the 3 chapters of Empire of Cats you go to the Into the Future so in the Future in Japan there is Alien Doge and in Norway there is Hyppoh also in the Great Abyss there I.M. is it a gacha?

I think yes!

1. all the cats are drawn from a randomized box, you can use one of two premium currencies, cat tickets or cat food.

2. the gamatoto expeditions are giving random rewards, you can use this to fasten the time it takes them, this is using the games premium currency.

3. many limited time events, it has a fear of missing out that draws people into these events. this is listed as a gacha mechanic on the wikipedia page for gacha games.

4. theres a stamina bar that is also listed as a gacha game mechanic on the gacha game wiki page, you can spend currency on this for more stamina.

5. the games powerups and xp system use premium currency too.
