Unverified Claims
[edit]"It features a critically acclaimed soundtrack by Yuzo Koshiro..."
"Streets of Rage 2 met with critical acclaim and vast commercial success."
Per WP:V, I'm requesting for the second time that these things be verified before being included (the only references are unsoucred claims from gaming sites). As it stands, the comments read like something written by a user who's simply a fan of the game and its music. --4.249.81.181 15:10, 18 October 2007 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Streets Of Rage 2 -EUR-.PNG
[edit]Image:Streets Of Rage 2 -EUR-.PNG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

My edit
[edit]I made a lot of edits, mostly to get rid of all the things that were verbatim from the game's manual. Also took out all the controls, as Wikipedia is not a game guide. Still needs work though. -- Darth Mike (Talk • Contribs) 21:32, 8 August 2008 (UTC)
Mysterious background music
[edit]If you play BGM 09 in the options screen, you'll hear a music that doesn't seem to be used in any part of the game. Does anybody know where it might belong to? 202.69.189.25 (talk) 00:05, 2 September 2009 (UTC)

Abedebe section
[edit]Can someone also add that Abedebe's powers are suplexing the player and even using Ultimate Warrior's clothesline finisher? 66.108.211.43 (talk) 00:44, 4 June 2011 (UTC)

Redirect for Bare Knuckle II: The Requiem of the Deadly Battle
[edit]Bare Knuckle II: The Requiem of the Deadly Battle needs to be redirected here. I don't really know how to do that so if someone else will?

Gameplay section
[edit]Care to explain how my revision here is "not an improvement" over the current one? A bullet list of changes might suit a dedicated Streets of Rage fanwiki, but for a standalone Wikipedia article, a prose summary that doesn't automatically assume you know everything about the first game works way better. It needs to give a clear and concise explanation of the base gameplay while also briefly summarising the new improvements without getting too technical about specifics. (eg. Blitz and Special attacks are worth mentioning, slight tweaks concerning how you throw a knife is not). If a gameplay section goes into fine detail about health bar presentation (which isn't even gameplay related, btw) but doesn't even bother to explain that it's a game where you go around punching people to progress, something's clearly wrong. What you currently have isn't a gameplay description, it's a patchlist. Wonchop (talk) 12:41, 13 October 2019 (UTC)
@Wonchop: Hello. OK! I'm convinced! you can restore your edit, it also has a ref to its official manual book, which is a very good approach. THANX. -- Editor-1 (talk) 08:12, 15 October 2019 (UTC)
