[edit]This article really needs re-writing. It reads like the back of the game box, and that has no place in an encyclopedia.
New Release Dates
[edit]- AFAIC, but release dates is 20 August in US, and 24th August in Australia, thou haven't seen official info. Mark Gubarenko 19:57, 19 July 2007 (UTC)
- Amazon says that its release date will be June 30. Granted, it could be delayed, as it has been in the past. It was originally supposed to be released with the PS3 launch. Still, I think it's somewhat relevant and important to mention in the article.67.162.108.111 03:28, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
- Gameinformer said the 14th of August in US. Also IGN said the 6th of August as well in the US.--67.186.139.224 20:32, 21 July 2007 (UTC)
- http://www.gamespot.com/news/6175761.html?action=convert&om_clk=latestnews&tag=latestnews;title;1 - PC and 360 versions are to be released on August 27th, while the PS3 version will release on the 17th of September. My apologies for the sloppiness, but I am unable to work HTML.69.242.60.103 21:59, 27 July 2007 (UTC)
- Ok, different people are changing the release date to different values. Currently, the table says September whilst the article itself says August. Where is the consistency? Does anybody have real evidence as to when it will be released? If not, perhaps all release date changes should be reverted. I have not edited anything. (PS: August 27 is tomorow). Joshuaali 08:01, 26 August 2007 (UTC)
- Somebody keps changing the release date to september 5th without giving any source as why. 69.248.63.92 15:24, 26 August 2007 (UTC)
- It is now the 29th, and I do not believe the game has been released yet. Some users seem to have already taken the liberty of changing the release date once more (albeit inconsistent), so I will ensure that they are the same (currently at 5th September) and fix up some other text relating to it. Joshuaali 06:07, 29 August 2007 (UTC)
- Oh, and that would mean that the GameSpot article was incorrect in predicting the release date for PC/Xbox360. Who's to say that they aren't incorrect for the release date for the PS3, also? Joshuaali 06:14, 29 August 2007 (UTC)
- And it now seems that the release date for the PS3 version has been pushed back to Oct 29/30? I'm not touching the actual article, just throwing the info out and seeing if anyone runs with it. Doom2099 18:46, 25 September 2007 (UTC)

just so you know...
[edit]woo and fat both were in on some movie named "the replacement killers" .... so the whole first time since hard boiled is total BS. just throwing it out there,, —Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.87.247.100 (talk) 05:11, 11 September 2007 (UTC)
- Making corrections is one thing, calling a simple mistake "total BS" is another. The Replacement Killers isn't exactly a new movie. - Cyborg Ninja (talk) 04:19, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
Max Payne
[edit]Some mention could be made of it's huge similarities to Max Payne and Max Payne 2. A lot of websites talk about this, and May Payne itself was inspired by John Woo films. Frvernchanezzz (talk) 08:39, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
Plot Synopsis
[edit]The plot synopsis is meandering and incoherent in places. Please add more plot points and cohesion. 209.173.90.95 (talk) 08:58, 23 December 2007 (UTC)
I edited it. Is this better? It might be a bit too much. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.226.113.154 (talk) 06:48, 28 December 2008 (UTC)
Just a comment about the movie and the game
[edit]I watched the movie and played the game, the game's story doesn't really connect with the movie's. MOVIE SPOILER FOLLOWS: In the movie, Taquila's girlfriend was that Teresa (madam), not some gangster's daughter, and even at the end of the movie, they never have a child. And the gangsters in the movie are in the weapons trade, not drug trafficking. I played the game first before watching the movie, and I was really dissapointed with these inconsistencies. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.104.67.47 (talk) 10:24, 13 February 2008 (UTC)
It's not based on the movie, It's a sequel to the movie. Hence: different bad guys. And if it bugs you that much, pretend he dumped Teresa and met a gangster's daughter in between.72.39.41.229 (talk) —Preceding undated comment was added at 12:21, 30 July 2008 (UTC)

Woo/Chow Yun-Fat collaborations
[edit]The article says this is the first collaboration between the two since Hard Boiled. However, Woo produced both The Replacement Killers(1998) and Bulletproof Monk(2003) with Chow Yun-Fat. I'm not sure if these would count as collaborations though. Crazymaner2003 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 00:32, 9 August 2009 (UTC).
It says here and in the game that Billie is Tequila's wife and child? Why is this?--Annihilatortom (talk) 16:51, 31 August 2009 (UTC)
