Removal of Peacekeeping Sex Scandal

[edit]

The Peacekeeping Sex Scandal section has been repeatedly removed by User:Cossde and their sock-puppet User:192.210.135.154 using the excuse "add this content as a independent topic as done so in the articles on the British Army, US Army, Canadian Army". This is WP:OTHERSTUFF argument: The British/US/Canadian Army articles don't have anything on sex scandals, so we should not have sex scandals on the Sri Lanka Army article.

Even if a separate article were created for this content there is no excuse for preventing any mention of the sex scandal on the Sri Lanka Army article. As WP:SUMMARY states, "The original article should contain a section with a summary of the subtopic's article as well as a link to it." This is another straightforward WP:CENSOR from a user with a long record of violating Wikipedia policies.--obi2canibetalk contr 14:42, 28 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

This coming from a user who has a long history of drafted articles creating undue wight in creating a negative image of the Sri Lankan Armed forces. As per WP:CORG this section should be in place as section or sub section of United Nations Stabilisation Mission in Haiti, under which context it took place. Keeping a "a small summary overview of the controversies" in this article as part of the peace keeping paragraph is acceptable, however having such a large section give the incident undue wight. To this end I shall make the necessary edits. Cossde (talk) 16:00, 29 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
With these four edits you and your sock-puppets removed all mention of the numerous sex abuses committed by Sri Lankan soldiers in Haiti: 1, 2, 3, 4. That is censorship.--obi2canibetalk contr 15:19, 11 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
You are entitled to you opinion however I didn't use sock-puppets. Content was moved to the relevant articles not removed. All relevant links were kept in place. Mind you in the US Army not even links to scandals such as the Abu Ghraib torture and prisoner abuse or the Bagram torture and prisoner abuse are included. Even though they gained more media lime light than this.Cossde (talk) 11:17, 12 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Did they teach to you to fib at that prestigious school you went to?
  • You don't use sockpuppets - this tells a different story.
  • Content was moved to the relevant articles not removed and all relevant links were kept in place? After these two edits using your master account - 1 2 - there was no mention of the numerous sex abuses committed by Sri Lankan Army in Haiti.
