Section on Audio Application needs editing. The pioneer in 35mm audio recording was Everest Records in the late 1950s and this fact was not mentioned i. the article. In the section on Equipment and manufacturers a major film sound company who helped to develop in this field was Weztrex Corporation abd again this was entirely ommitted in the article. Westrex 35mm recorders and playback equipment is still in use. Finally the timeline in this section is vety vague. Mercury Recirds more or less picked up where Everest left off in the early 1960s. It is sometimes stated that Merciry pioneered 35mm in audii recording but this was not the case. They purchased the equipment from Everest and for a short while even used the Bayside studio. I tried to address these major areas of deficit in the article (which is otjerwise quite clear and succinct) in my edit to this section. But it really needs reworking with a correct timeline and correct factual basis.
