- Good job. Who would do that?! :O
- Apparently, someone with the ability to see the future, as his prediction of both the title AND the release date announcement were correct. Creepy... Cyberlink420 19:14, 25 September 2007 (UTC)
Win2k incompatible
[edit]Starting with episode 2 of this season, the game exe appears to be built with a new compiler or setting that imports (but does not use) a function call that is available only in the WinXP kernel and later. The forum post by the user Dachannien explains the issue succinctly. Another forum poster offered a patch that fixes this, but it was taken down by Telltale. Telltale is, however, offering refunds for this problem. The game does not list Win2k as a supported OS, but the first episode of this season and the entire Season One works just fine in Win2k. Thus this could be a surprise for some users. Ham Pastrami (talk) 23:20, 11 August 2008 (UTC)
The proposed mergal tags
[edit]I don't know why the merger tags keep getting removed and then marked as vandalism. Sam and Max Season 1 was multiple articles, but it was decided that all the episode articles be merged into the main season article (as the individual episode articles were nothing more than trivia and plot summaries). As there is precedent and all the season 2 episode articles are nothing more than trivia and extended plot summaries, there should be a discussion in terms of doing the same for Season 2, hence the tags. Yet, for some reason, whenever the tags are added they are deleted and marked as vandalism.
And yes, as there are 5 episodes, there should be 5 tags. It's not vandalism because there are so many tags. It's an indication of the merging of 5 articles, some of which may prove notable that they don't need to be merged.
Unless someone can give a good reason why the tags should not be added, (and hence the discussion of merging not take place). I am going to put (at least some of) them back, and people marking legitimate Wiki tags and discussion as vandalism will be reported to an admin if they are removed without discussion. 24.190.34.219 (talk) 20:31, 29 August 2009 (UTC)

Request to merge: Night of the Raving Dead, What's New, Beelzebub?, Chariots of the Dogs, Moai Better Blues, and Ice Station Santa into Sam & Max Beyond Time and Space
Considering how nice Sam & Max Save the World looks, was wondering if all the episodes could be merged into this. Based on the talk page here. Wondering if the same issues lay with all these episodes as well; most of the articles seem pretty plot heavy at first glance. -DarkCrowCaw 19:44, 15 May 2012 (UTC)
- Exactly the same issues are extant here as were present in the old Season 1 article before I overhauled. I had in mind to work over this article too, but never found time (and still don't have enough). If someone else wants to try to clean the article into something at least a bit more... presentable, I'd support that. -- Sabre (talk) 15:12, 16 May 2012 (UTC)
- Definitely should be merged. --MASEM (t) 15:30, 16 May 2012 (UTC)
- Agree with merging. Episode articles are totally redundant and devoid of new information. The core article just needs an expanded plot summary, broken into episodes. Euchrid (talk) 23:24, 22 June 2013 (UTC)
- Support. For all the reasons outlined above. Sociallyacceptable (talk) 00:24, 27 October 2013 (UTC)
