Talk:Raiders of the Lost Ark (video game)
Appearance
Wikipedia is not a strategy guide or instruction manual. Wikipedia articles should focus on the games themselves, not on how to play them; they should not contain tips, tricks, or cheat codes. That information is available elsewhere (such as on our sister project, Wikibooks), in printed guides and online, and does not belong in an encyclopedia entry. Please do not add your own hints or opinions of the game. Verifiable content about the history, design, and overall description of the game is welcome. If you have questions about whether specific information should be added, ask here first. |

- You could try a search on Froogle. I did a search and found several sales of this game. Click here to see them. Cerebralpayne 11:05, 27 January 2006 (UTC)

Retronauts - Sales Citation Called For
[edit]Well, since the folks at Retronauts were so certain, do we have a citation indicating the comparative sales numbers for Raiders vs. ET that we can footnote?Cool moe dee 345 (talk) 19:31, 22 May 2008 (UTC)
First game?
[edit]According to the Guinness Book of World Records, ROTLA is the first video game based on a movie. I would like to add this information to the article, but I am unsure if this is a reputable enough source to cite for the article. Thoughts? -Fogelmatrix (talk) 15:25, 15 August 2024 (UTC)
- Not sure how true it is @Fogelmatrix:. We only have a release date of November 1982, and the game Alien (1982) seems to have come out at the same month. Andrzejbanas (talk) 22:13, 15 September 2024 (UTC)
- Beyond that, it seems like Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back came out in July per Computer Entertainer. Andrzejbanas (talk) 22:20, 15 September 2024 (UTC)
