Why?

[edit]

Can the deleter of this page please explain why it was deleted without asking the community, or even putting it up for deletion first? Havok (T/C/e/c) 19:25, 31 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You really should ask that directly of User:Tone on their talk page. Protesting here does not do a huge amount of good. Tone did not give a deletion reason, so I can only speculate, but I would guess that it was deleted as A7 non-notable corporation. This would have fallen under speedy deletion, and no debate or notice is required for speedy deletions. Please do see WP:CORP for notability requirements for corporations. If you cannot show that those requirements are met, then you are likely fighting a losing battle here. But anyway, talk to Tone first, to get a specific explanation of the deletion. If you still have a problem, you can allways post a request for a review at WP:DRV. - TexasAndroid (talk) 21:08, 31 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Only now I see what was the problem. The person who tagged it db-spam placed the tag under the infobox so it didn't show up in the log. Anyway, the article is restored and on afd now. --Tone 22:02, 31 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Split June 2012

[edit]

The reason given for the split tag is
""obvious reason", the game was notable due to all the coverage"
I am opposed to this because:
1) The reason given is not a reason to split.
2) The material covering Project Offset is too small to make a viable article.
3) The material covering Project Offset does not dominate the article.
4) The article is too small to justify a split on size alone.

This article is not ready to split at this time. Op47 (talk) 13:45, 2 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
