Merge proposal
[edit]I have started this as another user has placed a merge tag on article but given no rational for the merge.
The proposal to merge just one of the three sub articles (TransPennine North West, North TransPennine and South TransPennine) into the parent First TransPennine Express seems rather strange, either we have one article covering all three or leave as is. In fact the TransPennine North West article has a split tag on it which would complicate things even more.
Personally I would leave as separate articles rather than having a larger complex article with 3 route diagrams in it. I always find it much easier to see the detail in smaller articles rather than to extract the required information from lager articles. Keith D (talk) 12:31, 11 November 2008 (UTC)
I say keep split, the full article would be too long.Nankai (talk) 23:02, 25 April 2009 (UTC)
- Comment The split tag has been on TP NW since mid 2008 without action so I think it can be ignored. NtheP (talk) 17:58, 18 December 2009 (UTC)
Route map
[edit]The branch to Manchester Airport is wrongly depicted; it should branch off to the "east" like the branches to Hull, Middlesborough etc. I don't know how to fix it, but I might have a tryNankai (talk) 23:02, 25 April 2009 (UTC)
