Is her father abusive in Act 1?

It's mentioned a couple of times in this article that Natsuki is abused by her father, but if I remember correctly there is little if any evidence that her father is abusive in Act 1. In Act 2, however, I think there's solid evidence that she suffers abuse in terms of physical abuse and neglect (causing her to suffer malnutrition), though this is likely due to Monika's influence. Can we agree that it is unlikely that she suffers abuse in Act 1, and therefore make note of it in the article that she is only subject to abuse in the latter half of the game?
