Talk:Mass Effect: New Earth
Too bad objective experience can't be used as a source
[edit]As a season-pass holder to Great America, I must have been on this ride over a dozen times over as many visits to the park. Each time I am struck by the fact that the actor's script changes each time, freshening the experience on each visit. I've never seen the same actor twice, and I had never been sure if the actor's script deliberately evolves, or if the changes happen because the actors have freedom to deviate from a standard script. I've always meant to ask one of the actors, but felt that they would likely stay in character and not give me a straight answer.
So I went hunting and found this wonderful source: https://www.coaster101.com/2018/04/10/under-the-lights-of-mass-effect/
It goes into detail about what the actors can and cannot do. Apparently the script evolves over time (a team effort between all the performers), and there are sections of the ride in which the actor can ad-lib or even speak freely. They aren't just employees trained to play a role, they're performers who have to audition for the part. It would be nice if some of that information could be incorporated into this article. ~Anachronist (talk) 05:07, 21 July 2021 (UTC)
- Accordingly, I have added a short couple of sentences to the article. ~Anachronist (talk) 01:53, 2 September 2021 (UTC)
