Expansion
[edit]Hello, as part of a university class assignment, I would like to help try to expand this stub slightly in the next few days, I'm trying not to step on anyone's toes, thanks so much
I have recently added 2 new sections and greatly expanded one. Feel free to give it a read and give me any feedback — Preceding unsigned comment added by Adamwolski0 (talk • contribs) 06:40, 4 April 2013 (UTC)
Vandalism
[edit]It is vandalism to call the princess, "Princess Peach" in this article. --ZachKudrna18@yahoo.com
Reverting
[edit]What's with the reverting back six versions, while useful info has been added? If you want to remove such a large chunk of text, please explain why. Robin F. 21:43, 5 December 2005 (UTC)
- Because that particular editor has been making many dubious edits, so most of them have been reverted. tregoweth 08:14, 6 December 2005 (UTC)
- All these changes and nobody fixes the spelling of 'racquet' ???
Possible sources for clean up
[edit]- 1up feature on Mario Sports
- 1up Review
- Nintendolife Review
- Crave Online's trivial mention
- Defunct Games Review
- Mushroom Kingdom's transcript for the manual
I thought there would be more out there...but then again, I've only done a quick first search so far... Sergecross73 msg me 19:22, 9 January 2012 (UTC)
Invalid source?
[edit]I'm an infrequent editor to Wikipedia (mostly through IP), so I'm not fully aware of the protocol for this, but one of the sources used in the article could be faulty. For the fact that the game had plans two-player function, it cites an article written in 2011. However, the information traces back to at least 2006, when it was posted on the StrategyWiki (a fansite for gaming walktrhoughs) with no source in sight. From there, it popped up on the Super Mario Wiki (a fansite for Mario-related media) in 2008, again with no source in sight. I've yet to find another source that can confirm this besides other fan sites, though they were edited after the StategyWiki's edit. Even if the information is valid, I don't think using a source from 2011 works when there are (unsourced) works that use the info as well. Reversinator (talk) 02:04, 8 May 2015 (UTC)
- Unless you've got proof that Engadget got their info from those bad sources, there's no reason to connect the two. Engadget is considered a reliable source, especially regarding tech info... Sergecross73 msg me 02:15, 8 May 2015 (UTC)
