[edit]The article makes a large deal out of what look like minor grants and awards. Also, the sourcing is exceptionally weak. As the article is now, I'm not sure it would survive an AFD. This appears to be because the article's primary author has a conflict of interest and doesn't really understand that he should not be editing the article. - MrOllie (talk) 13:52, 17 March 2017 (UTC)
- I had thought that as the owner of the company I should probably not create a page about it, but I had a conversation (in person) with Ocaasi, who I regarded as an authority, and he encouraged me to create the page and submit it to Articles for Creation. I did that, and the page was in pretty close to the state it's in now, and it passed AfC. It's my understanding, based on what he told me, that it is okay for me to have created the page and done some edits, since they were reviewed. The COI tag you placed recommends that the article be looked at for possible cleanup based on the issue of NPOV, and I think that's legitimate. Your criticisms of the article in its current form seem valid to me, and I hope others will make edits to improve it. Rlitwin (talk) 14:07, 17 March 2017 (UTC)
- Litwin Books has been a catalyst for creativity in a discipline with little external support. MrOllie may see the funding as small, but the effect is large and an inspiration to people who work very hard in an importaqnt sector. I have sent students and young practitioners to this organization often.Kmccook (talk) 21:47, 13 February 2018 (UTC)
