PC vs Wii U versions
[edit]I still haven't done a ton of reading into the game yet, so forgive me if this is obvious, but is there much of a difference between the two versions? I've noticed that the MC/GR scores are substantially higher for the Wii U versions, but I wasn't sure if it was based on differences in content, or differences in reviewers or expectations. (Like perhaps the PC journalists were just more critical to this sort of game?) If anything that isn't original research on this is known, it'd be good to expand on, especially in the reception. - There are no content differences. It is hard to say because IGN is the only publication I'm aware of that covers both versions (but then again, two different people review the game). Interestingly, this has occurred for both World of Goo and And Yet It Moves, where Wii reviews were generally higher than PC reviews. --ThomasO1989 (talk) 18:32, 31 December 2012 (UTC)
- Perhaps it's just a "expectations" or "the taste of the fanbase" type thing then. I've noticed similar things happening with Sonic (series) games, where sometimes the Nintendo system version gets higher scores even if they are identical, or even worse. (Like with Sonic Heroes or Sonic Unleashed).
- Anyways, I guess there's not a whole lot to expand on then, other than maybe stating that the versions are in fact identical (Unless it's already in there.) Sergecross73 msg me 21:18, 1 January 2013 (UTC)
