Numbering Error
[edit]I'd like to point out that the episode list skips from 107 to 109 when numbering the English episode airings. I won't change it myself, in case there may be a reason for this, but someone more involved in the writing of the article may want to re-check their work. --Crimson Bleeding Souls (talk) 20:50, 26 December 2008 (UTC)
Move?
[edit]- Move to List of Pokémon: Adventures on The Orange Islands episodes?
- Reason: I'd like to move them to match the other seasons of Pokemon episodes. Example: List of Pokemon: The Johto Journeys episodes and all the others are the same as The Johto Journeys, but season 1 (Indigo League) and season 2 (Orange Islands) are not like that (they are like "List of Pokemon episodes (season 1/2)), so I'd like to move them so they match how the other List of Pokemon episodes articles are.
- Permission granted? PhilKnight is the the administrator who informed me to post here. - Eugene Krabs (talk) 23:04, 10 February 2009 (UTC) (moved from Wikipedia:Requested moves by Anthony Appleyard (talk) 10:24, 11 February 2009 (UTC))
- Except the season was just called "Pokemon". The most common unofficial name i've seen was "Pokemon: The Orange Islands". This is not like Star Trek: The Original Series (which was originally just called "Star Trek", but even Paramount now uses TOS part) as Nintendo has never used either of those fan names for the first 2 seasons. Series/Season confusion
[edit]- Seems people still confuse series and seasons. Seasons in Pokemon, except 9th and 10th, are 52 episodes each and it's an undeniable fact. Thus, Pokemon Water War is first episode of 3rd season and always shown as such. People, think before you revert the edit. --AtoMan (talk) 12:02, 5 May 2009 (UTC)

Rename
[edit]I honestly think we should rename the main page to "List of Pokémon: Adventures in the Orange Islands episodes" (with on replaced with in). Here's my source that in is more accurate: http://www.pokemon.com/us/pokemon-episodes/pokemon-tv-seasons. (By the way, to avoid confusion, the episode list refers to each series as a season even though the television airing only refers to a group of 52 episodes as seasons, that's because the season is mainly about that series it introduces, and in the US, for series longer than 52 episodes, they throw in the remaining episodes of the series as apart of the next season, although in Japan, seasons can go longer than 52 episodes, although the raw undubbed versions of episodes originally air in Japan, and we do have some important information about its airing in the US, I don't want anyone to think the link I provided would prove me wrong.) There are two logos for the Orange Islands arc, one says "Adventures In Orange Islands" and one says "Adventures on the Orange Islands", but according to the series list on the official Pokémon.com website, the correct title is "Adventures in the Orange Islands". - EvilLair (✉ | c) 17:39, 17 May 2015 (UTC)
Move discussion in progress
[edit]There is a move discussion in progress on Talk:List of Pokémon: Indigo League episodes which affects this page. Please participate on that page and not in this talk page section. Thank you. —RMCD bot 23:32, 20 November 2020 (UTC)
