General: Article is new enough and long enough
Policy: Article is sourced, neutral, and free of copyright problems

Hook eligibility:

  • Cited: No - ALT0's direct quote alludes to some of previous games, but not "all". ALT0's claim is also not made in the article, but the source is used. ALT1's source refers to circuit creation, not "chip-manufacturing" (or microchips), ALT1's claim is not in the article.
  • Interesting: Yes
QPQ: None required.

Overall: @CanonNi: The article is interesting enough for a DYK. The article should be based on the sources, and then the DYK hook(s) can be created/adapted from the article. Current may be accurate but are not borne out by the cited sources, and *seem* like WP:OR. I'd be happy to see some hooks supported directly (or compiled from) reliably-supported claims made in the article -Bogger (talk) 17:03, 18 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Bogger: thanks for the review. I agree that the sources do not entirely support the original hooks, which, I admit, is kinda OR. Maybe change ALT0 to "some" (though that would be less interesting) or use ALT1? (which I've edited the article to match) '''[[User:CanonNi]]''' (talkcontribs) 02:02, 19 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
ALT1 is now approved, after article updated, and I added a second source to the hook, also ALT0A below with slight tweak. Good stuff.

ALT0A ... that Zachtronics' final game, Last Call BBS, contains elements of some of their previous games? -Bogger (talk) 08:37, 19 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
