The amount of employees should be updated.
[edit]I know a while ago the owner of Larian Studios said he has more than 100 people working on Divinity Original Sin 2, 40 isn't correct anymore by a long shot. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.128.31.122 (talk) 10:00, 27 August 2017 (UTC)

Merger from Swen Vincke
[edit]- The following discussion is closed. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section. A summary of the conclusions reached follows.
- The consensus is to merge Swen Vincke into Larian Studios. 78.28.54.188 (talk) 22:26, 30 May 2019 (UTC)
The article on Swen Vincke contains very little if any information that isn't already given here. It used to be a redirect and I think going back to that solution is the way to go. Pichpich (talk) 18:28, 21 June 2018 (UTC)
- I'd already started a discussion on the talk page of the article about that person as to whether it should be converted back into a redirect and outlined my arguments there. But I will say that I believe he meets the WP:BASIC guideline so what needs to be done is his article has to be expanded to at least include information about his work, which as of now only mentions his work on the divinity series in passing... And doesn't mention his work on the later games in that series at all, even though they were the most popular and garnered the best critical response. It's just that I am too lazy to add that info right now. Maybe someone else would like to join? Openlydialectic (talk) 19:36, 21 June 2018 (UTC)
- I stand by my original redirection. Vincke has no substantial reliable coverage for himself, only in regards to the studio he works at. I'm not convinced with the sources added. soetermans. ↑↑↓↓←→←→ B A TALK 01:23, 22 June 2018 (UTC)
- He has, just google his name. I mean I did that and added references taken from that search query.
- >I'm not convinced with the sources added. Sorry, but that's not an argument. Elaborate more, please. Openlydialectic (talk) 12:37, 22 June 2018 (UTC)
- I stand by my original redirection. Vincke has no substantial reliable coverage for himself, only in regards to the studio he works at. I'm not convinced with the sources added. soetermans. ↑↑↓↓←→←→ B A TALK 01:23, 22 June 2018 (UTC)
- Wikipedia is not run on Google search results. I don't have to provide an argument that he isn't notable, you're the one that has decided to undo my redirecting and per WP:BURDEN, it's up to you to provide good sources. But sure, let's break it down.
- IGN is an interview with him, not an independent article about him or his work.
- About me is a primary source. Doesn't show stand-alone notability.
- PC Gamer an interview about with him about a game he worked on. Same thing as IGN.
- HLN.be is a news article about the studio expanding, not about Vincke.
- "Adventure Rock Credits, found within the game interface". Do I really have to point out that this isn't a valid source?
- Larian.com is another primary source. And also "Oops! That page can’t be found."
- For video game articles, there's a custom reliable source engine. Looking through it, Vincke's name is only mentioned in relation to his work at his studio. So there you go. soetermans. ↑↑↓↓←→←→ B A TALK 14:16, 22 June 2018 (UTC)
Baldur's gate 3
[edit]No information listed on the notable works section. Sick of people deleting my edits, yet they don't bother to fully update the page. Why only post a new game under Games Developed, but no extra information on it. (Jimmyblackwing, pichpich, openlydialetic, or soetermans). You didn't bother to do it. Lazy. It is unnecessary to wait until the game is out to post the extra information. You could have added On June 6, Baldur's Gate 3 was confirmed to be in development or something rather.
