Talk:Juiced 2: Hot Import Nights
Hey everyone, just with in as juiced 2 is the fucking best and the watned to tell you all what i know about Juiced 2. Most of the info is from a Scandinavian Video Game Magazine. Basicly, that's were i got all the info, it's all in Swedsih though. If you live in Sweden, you can get Gamereactor #44 (2007) and read about the game yourself. I think it sounds like a cool game! (Sorry about any words here or in the article that are spelled incorectly, English is not my native language).
Terrible article
[edit]"a section where it says about the cars" are you serious? terrible article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.186.231.170 (talk) 04:53, 4 September 2007 (UTC)
I agree, this article appears to be copied from the game's brochure. The Cities and Cars section is trying to "sell" these cities. Examples: "Sydney is an excellent location for drivers to visit", "Drifters will enjoy the London track as it snakes around the London Eye." and "A muscle car is a high performance car with a large capacity engine. The original muscle cars appeared between 1964 and 1973 from American manufacturers such as Chevrolet, Plymouth, Dodge, Pontiac, and Ford."
These sections do not actually explain how these aspects are implemented into Juiced 2: Hot Import Nights. I would like to change this article to make it more factual, as opposed to trying to sell it to me, but I know little about the product to actually do. Hence, why I come to Wikipedia. I could've easily read a magazine for this information. Mister macphisto 06:38, 13 October 2007 (UTC)
Not a good article
[edit]This article is not looking good right now. You also speak in current tense at times in the article like the game has been released already, which it hasn't. The quality is also not so good, and you have relatively no links at all. Before writing such an article, make sure that some of this information has been CONFIRMED by others first, because very little is known about the game right now, and you should either keep the article simple for what is already known for sure, or don't write it. Oh, and one more thing: PLEASE SIGN YOUR NAME; just tap the key (right below the Esc key) 4 times. JustN5:12 01:06, 8 March 2007 (UTC)
Car List
[edit]The vehicle names should be removed because this is'nt a game guide. Professional Gamer 16:09, 1 September 2007 (UTC)
Who Changes "Ricer"
[edit]Whoever keeps changing ricer to tuner, please stop. The game calls them ricers.FogDevil 10:45, 28 September 2007 (UTC)
Canada Release Date
[edit]Does anybody know that this game came out on the 25th in Canada too? I just changed it to the 14th for Canada. I went to EB Games on that day to buy NHL 08 and they had Juiced 2. —Preceding unsigned comment added by FogDevil (talk • contribs) 18:20, 5 October 2007 (UTC)
No valid source for the soundtrack
[edit]There's no source for the info on the soundtrack of the game. The single external link seems to be down and on the GameSpot-site there's no article about a Juiced games staff member ever having revealed infos about the soundtrack.
Besides, I can't find any confirmation of the 16 Bit Lolita's (*with* the apostroph, btw) having ever recorded a song called "Acid", apart from many other of these listings. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.62.8.161 (talk) 06:58, 18 December 2007 (UTC)
- You will just have to take my word for it. I am the one who found the soundtrack, and it was an official Juice Games staff member who stated it. Also, I am not sure about the 16 Bit Lolitas, but if you visit the Juiced 2 official site, you will read that all tracks by Adam Freeland except "Mindkiller" were made just for this game. Another reason why you may have trouble finding songs is that there are pretty rare. FogDevil (talk) 15:41, 25 December 2007 (UTC)
Driver DNA
[edit]I'm not entirely sure the Driver DNA feature could be considered a 'phenomenon'. Sounds a little too much like marketing speak, I think it should be revised. Daybarnes (talk) 11:31, 7 January 2008 (UTC)
- Changed it to "feature". FogDevil (talk) 19:50, 9 January 2008 (UTC)
Mention of lack of popularity of online play
[edit]I think it should be mentioned that no one plays the game online on the PS3 network, there is never anyone to play on Online Career Mode, which makes completing all the races impossible as some events do not allow AI cars to participate. (FYI I love this game, not hating on it, just it makes the entire Online Career Mode useless. Which is important to know about the game)--NeF (talk) 12:51, 29 March 2008 (UTC)
- Just wanted to mention I bought the pc version early 2008, and I *JUST* raced vs my first human opponent online. Only had to wait.... er... 21 months? Terrible online support. I got my brother a copy of the game cheap so I could do some of the things online, but even then, some events are like 6 humans required or more... I'm gonna have to wait about 125 months before that happens! =[ 12:17, 25 December 2009 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.219.130.17 (talk)

Drift Obliterator matches
[edit]If you're a reasonably good player and are having trouble with any of these events, consider choosing a car without the "Good Drift Car" stamp, might sound counter-intuitive, but if you are a good drifter anyway, the scores required on these tracks are quite low, so once you obtain the needed score each lap, a non drift car is actually very useful for carving up the rest of the lap quickly due to its grippy nature, whilst the other players slide around helplessly slow in their drift suited cars. You finish your laps much quicker this way. Or, I do. 203.219.130.17 (talk) 10:03, 28 December 2009 (UTC)
prototypemods
[edit]Does anybody out there know how to get the prototype mods on the car once you unlock them. I've unlocked all the mods but races say my car nrrds at least one prototype mod to ener race help. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 198.175.175.102 (talk) 00:12, 16 March 2011 (UTC)
GFWL Achievements.
[edit]Shouldn't there be some mention that most GFWL achievements were broken and made unobtainable, due to an update patch shortly after release? Lmcgregoruk (talk) 19:19, 13 April 2014 (UTC)
