Article needs a photo

[edit]

The article has no photograph of this notable new aircraft currently in the process of certification, and being developed by a publicly traded company. Seems odd. N2e (talk) 21:44, 3 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

This photo recently won first place in the Aviation Week 2021 Photo Contest. Here's all winning photos. Perhaps might be able to be used to improve the article under WP:FAIRUSE, since this has been published in a news media source and private photographs have not been able to be obtained.-- N2e (talk)

Fair use pics (usually from press release, not from pillaging magazines) are OK until the craft is public and a free picture can be made, and if the vehicle had made its first flight, it's considered public. I think this can be difficult to attain, especially for small aircraft flying in inaccessible aerodromes. An easier condition would be: if a spotter took a picture of it, it's public enough and the fair use claim would be moot, but hey, I don't make the rules.--Marc Lacoste (talk) 07:00, 4 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Right now, As I searched for Joby+aircraft in google images, there are mostly press release and magazine pictures, but also some spotters photos like urbanairmobilitynews (long lens, testing ground with no attempt for cleaning: not a press picture). I'm afraid it would fail even my proposed condition.--Marc Lacoste (talk) 07:06, 4 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I added a picture from a patent. Patents seems to be public domain in the US (unless there is a copyright notice) and Wikipedia's servers (not wikimedia commons) are in the US, so it should be OK.--Marc Lacoste (talk) 07:34, 4 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The aircraft of Joby can fly in any Weather?
