Contested deletion

[edit]

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because... (Homecoming Servers is the current legal developer of a MMORPG with over 300k accounts.) --SoggiestSoup (talk) 04:30, 30 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Citations

[edit]

What exactly is being requested? The article has 4 sources for their license, a link to their site and their LLC Company Code with a link to the Delaware LLC lookup. It's basically a parity of Paragon Studios for information So what else needs to be cited? SoggiestSoup (talk) 08:59, 30 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The article likely has sufficient reliable sources not to be deleted (except Destructoid, which is not considered reliable, see Wikipedia:WikiProject_Video_games/Sources#Situational_sources). The tag is likely there to encourage expansion and addition of further sourcing, as merely avoiding deletion is not the standard that articles should be striving for.
That being said, if the content of the article is not expanded, it is likely that it will be merged into the main topic article. Melmann 11:18, 30 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Updated it with a better source and more info.
It would be unusual for Homecoming to have more info on City of Heroes than Paragon Studios so if it comes to that merging it with CoH would be unnecessary as they both have a decent amount of information on the article. SoggiestSoup (talk) 21:36, 30 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Notability Tag needs Clarification

[edit]

"Homecoming Servers" already has plenty of secondary sources throughout the article covering it's notability. SoggiestSoup (talk) 23:32, 23 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
