Copy/Paste issue

[edit]

Well this article is a copy/paste from Lebanon: A Country Study by Thomas Collelo, ed. Washington, DC: Federal Research Division of the Library of Congress, 1987. So it would be better if it gets fully restated. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Alain08 (talkcontribs) 22:01, 13 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Innacuracies

[edit]

The god or Ba'al of Tyre is called Melkurt in this article. The text is in red, meaning there is no wikipedia article for this. However, the actual name of this god is Melqart (or Melkart) and there is a wikipedia article for him.

The caption of a picture at the bottom of the article says that an inscription is written in Greek. It is actually written in Phoenician, if you consult the Phoenician alphabet page you will easily notice this. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.251.76.140 (talk) 20:57, 2 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I deleted this source because it links to a 404: Page Not Found website. Depo808knee (talk) 06:42, 12 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
