[edit]This is a legitimate stub providing information about a us video game company that is mentioned in other several other larger articles. I am working on exapnding the article to provide more information. —Preceding unsigned comment added by BryanBouwman (talk • contribs)
- You also happen to be one of the founders of HipSoft. Hmm hmm hmm! Then again, I'm not sure what Wiki's policy is on founders writing articles about their own companies. Casull 07:55, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
I am trying to do everything in only an encyclopedia fashion. I admit I am new to this but am trying to write an informative article about our company similar to other articles I have seen. I bascially saw that someone made a nice article about one of our games and am trying to expand on that and also give information about the company that made it. If I am wrong to do this I guess I really don't understand what Wikipedia is for. If this is the case let me know and I will go away. —Preceding unsigned comment added by BryanBouwman (talk • contribs) 19:24, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
- Hey, I got no problem with it. Welcome to Wikipedia! Casull 19:40, 12 March 2008 (UTC)
"that is mentioned in other several other larger articles"
[edit]Actually it's not refered to elsewhere: http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:Search&search=HipSoft&fulltext=Search
I've marked this article and the one for Build-a-lot as orphans. In fact, it's looking like it might not be notable. Mark Hurd (talk) 07:31, 13 April 2009 (UTC)
Actually it is refered to in the Build-a-lot article and it was in the Casual Games article until it was deleted. Even through HipSoft has more games, more hit games, generates more revenue and has been around longer than half the other companies listed in the casual games section somebody doesn't seem to want it listed there. So I have pretty much given up. BryanBouwman (talk) 18:15, 15 April 2009 (UTC)
