List of Google Earth 3D areas

[edit]

Agree, could someone re-instate the list? It is a very useful comparison with Apple maps' 3d flyover locations.

This list must contain only 3d areas and it must be trimmed if these 3d areas are merged.

I think that the best way forward would be to delete all suburbs of larger settlements from this list, unless those suburbs are major cities themselves (eg. Yokohama is a big city but also a suburb of an even bigger city Tokyo; but the Lawrence suburb of Indianapolis is not a major city). I would also remove all internal divisions of each country except the United States. 86.124.206.135 (talk) 15:09, 17 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Weather layer

[edit]

When did Google Earth add a weather layer? I see nothing about it here. Seems a pretty major oversight, since the past 2 winters the weather has been pretty wild as seen from Google Earth. Entire continents whited out. Thetrellan (talk) 18:50, 18 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

If we don't have a third-party source saying that, we can't include it here. And if no source talks about this, it's a good indicator that the change isn't notable. InfiniteNexus (talk) 21:39, 18 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
