Section on Goodgame Empire
[edit]Hello,
We noticed that the second part of the section on Goodgame Empire currently gives a very subjective, biased perspective on the game, which we believe does not comply with the idea of Wikipedia. In WP:PILLARS it is stated that “Wikipedia is written from a neutral point of view” and that the aim of the encyclopedia is not to debate matters but give an objective overview of the topic. This aim is certainly not fulfilled in this text. Some of the sources used in the second part are also very subjective statements from the community, i.e. snapshots of single players’ opinions, but not representative for the 80 million users who have registered for the game.
We were wondering if someone from the community could look into this or if we could work together towards a more neutral and well referenced text?
Many thanks, Goodgame (talk) 07:47, 16 March 2016 (UTC)

@MM898: please read our policies on neutral point of view, original research, and verifiability. Wikipedia isn't a place to add our own opinions, or the opinions of non-experts. All statements, especially controversial or negative statements, should be based on reliable, third-party published sources. (This doesn't necessarily mean the New York Times, either. You can find information about video-game sources at WP:VG/RS.) The term "neutral" may have different connotations elsewhere, like trying to balance good and bad. But at Wikipedia, "neutral point of view" means that we accurately summarize what reliable sources have published about a subject without inserting our own opinions or analysis. I hope this helps. Cheers! Woodroar (talk) 00:15, 18 March 2016 (UTC)
