Murphy Wind Mill ,Golden Gate Park
[edit]The Original Spars for the Murphy Mill fell off in a storm in 1951. They where made of whole lumber if Douglas For. As told to me by Family who lived in the Murphy Mill Caretakers house next door to Murphy Mill. I was a Gardner for San Francisco Recreation &Park Department 1984-2010. I worked in G.G.P. for 25 years out 26. I found tbe spars laying on the ground near the front (going west) of the Mill, near M.L.K. road. I partially uncovered the spars as they where hidden under 40+ years of Australian Tea Trees. Skyrocket999 (talk) 20:10, 9 June 2017 (UTC)
