I know I was disappointed with this game a there were no opportuunities for stealthy play, which was my chosen playstyle for both Deus Ex's. Would there be any objection to me posting a comment to reflect that this game was a disappointment in some respects due to its linearity (being, as it is, the 'spiritual successor' of two very non-linear games?--Random guy 05:27, 28 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • I don't know if you could call either of the DX games 'non-linear' in the truest sense of the word, rather, they made accomodations for fans of stealth play, smart play (that is, hacking), and strong play. So some might take issue with your calling any of them 'non-linear', but I don't think anyone could argue with you that shooting everything in sight was really the only way through Project: Snowblind. I'd suggest you say that "the game was a disappointment in some respects because it didn't have provisions for a stealth playstyle." What do you think? Yvh11a (Talk) 18:33, 28 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I added the conversations in the Revival level to the trivia section. FinalWish 04:51, 26 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I added some info on instability/crashes experienced by some users and probably related to Hyperthreading on P4 and/or Dual core processors. Also added info on a patch that was rumored to be in the works, and was then reported to be cancelled; or more likely was never planned but Eidos never really gave an official statement as to whether it was ever in the works. They simply stated that they would not be releasing a patch. Finally, I added info about two utilities which may solve these problems; some of this info may be somewhat off-topic, however it may help any user experiencing problems with the game decide between the two so it might be reasonable to be left in. Can someone edit the page title to include the colon. It doesn't seem to be a technical limitation anymore, as Deus Ex: Invisible War seems to work fine. Pcyli (talk) 02:28, 3 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Nah, as you can see, projects are Wikipedia projects, so like Project: Snowblind would link to WP:Snowblind, which currently redirects to the mainspace of this article. I probably sound as confusing as hell, but trying moving the article yourself and look up "Project: Snowblind". KK, bye. Kausill (Talk) (Contribs) 13:55, 22 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
