Talk:Fighting Force
Edits
[edit]I added a Reception section and moved the last sentence of the opening paragraph to be included in it. Seemed like the best place for it to be. MoonLoaf (talk) 12:00, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
Added New Cover Art
[edit]I've added the more well-known cover art for the game. I scanned the picture myself. YellowJello620 (talk) 1:09, 16 February 2009 (UTC)
Response to Mediocre Comment
[edit]I think they were referring to the majority of the ratings.

Originally Streets of Rage 4?
[edit]Where did the information come from about how Fighting Force was originally supposed to be Streets of Rage 4? I see no source information and I can't seem to find any information myself. -- YellowJello620 (talk) 09:17, 6 August 2009 (UTC)
From what I am aware from various magazines I read around the time of release, It wasn't initially meant to be SOR4 as this article suggests. Some time during development, either Core pitched the idea to Sega, or Sega went to Core, and there were talks to turn it into a Streets Of Rage sequel, but the idea was nixed somewhere very early along the line. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.194.207.214 (talk) 13:17, 26 November 2009 (UTC)
- I fail to see the connection. The article suggests nothing other than that Sega had involvement in the game, and makes no mention of Streets of Rage at all. I've done a bit of Google Searching and have found no substantial proof of these claims. It's distressing to see this mentioned in the SOR article with no reference at all, and then to look in this article and find a reference only to see that it has no relevance to the claim at all. Until someone can offer a credible reference in which someone from Sega or Core/Eidos actually acknowledges that this was the case (or at the least, a relevant scan from a reputable magazine that spells this out plainly), I'm filing all of this away into either the "invented reality" or the "read too much into things" folder. I'm holding out on deleting these blurbs in both articles for the time being, but I will remove the information in the near future if no one can offer a valid reference. 72.152.151.195 (talk) 23:49, 31 December 2010 (UTC)
