Shadow's Attire

[edit]

Note the change in Shadow Yamato's attire in the second Eternal Champions tournament. Although the true outcome of the first tournament was never stated, it is strongly believed as canon that she may be the official victor of the first tournament.(LonerXL (talk) 04:29, 22 December 2008 (UTC))[reply]

Sega Situations

[edit]

I didn't change anything, but I just want to point out that the criticism you have is inacurate.

Sega CD was an add-on peripheral to Genesis not a next-gen upgrade, that was the 32X, and people were angry that Sega discontinued that product shortly. Today we know that to be the result of the different viewpoints that Sega of Japan had with Sega of America that produced the 32X and made hits like Eternal Champions.

SoJ angry with Sega of America's success wanted to take back direction control, and making Saturn the only main Sega product, and discontinuing all of the 16-bit line hardware (Genesis, Sega CD, and 32-bit upgrade 32X).

Some of this information is publically known now (see IGN's revamped Dreamcast page http://dreamcast.ign.com and a direct link to the interview with a former SoA rep can be found here http://www.sega-16.com/Interview-%20Tom%20Kalinske.htm

Article information.

[edit]

Seeing as this now has a seperate article, could the author please take any detailed information specific to this game from the original Eternal Champions article and intergrate it here? Otherwise, this article could be deleted for lack of detail. Would not like to see that, but it would be great to see a sourced critical response section.
