Please withhold information regarding her family
[edit]Ellen is a professional aquaintence of mine, and I have spoken to her regarding this article. While she is okay with it, she would prefer that it not include information about her family. While not a terribly private person, she does consider such information realitively personal and would not like it posted to Wikipedia. That is the reason why such information was removed when it was posted earlier. I ask everyone to respect Ellen's privacy in that matter, and concerntrate on her more public contributions, such as her work as a writer and game producer. - Fearless Son 23:11, 8 December 2006 (UTC)
- It would be preferable for her to make this request herself, either leaving a method of contact or posting such a request from a source that can be traced to her, as otherwise we have no way of verifying that this request is actually coming from her. I don't have a problem with this request because I doubt there is currently anything noteworthy about her family status or personal life. However, this may change, and Wikipedia does not censor information. Please be aware of that. Potentially controversial information regarding living persons does, however, need to have strong sources per WP:BLP. Ham Pastrami (talk) 07:41, 23 July 2008 (UTC)
