No mention of Libya under Foreign Policy?
United Nations Security Council Resolution 1973 and Medvedev's decision not to veto the NATO no-fly zone; a disaster for Russian economic interests, never-mind the destabilization of the region (a mainstream view btw). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.144.180.85 (talk) 01:44, 11 February 2017 (UTC)

Currently, not only the MVD claims that the "investigation" of Navalny - fake. Yesterday, the court ruled that the film is slander. Alisher Usmanov won the case on protection of honor and dignity. And Navalny must remove fake from his site. To respect the WP:BLP, Wikipedia must write about lie of Navalny in shortest time (in the article about Medvedev). https://translate.google.ru/ - 37.144.120.240 (talk) 23:31, 31 May 2017 (UTC).

Yevgeny
I am wondering about kinship of the recently aprehended Yevgeny Ledbedev in Thailand by co-operating Thai and American anti-fraud forces. Of course he hasn't been convicted of anything, yet, but was found in possession of about 100,000 bitcoin, currently worth nearly $1,000,000,000! He wasn't a tourist, "having fled" there, presumably from Europe. So far I'm not finding evidence of kinship: Dmitry has 1 child, but if patronymics are correct, Yevgeny is not him. rags (talk) 10:29, 16 February 2018 (UTC)
Controversies
In September 2016 Alexei Navalny posted on his blog information about Dmitry Medvedev's "dacha" - rebuilt 18th - 19th-century Milovka Estate [ru] in Plyos on Volga River. In March 2017 Navalny and the Anti-corruption Foundation published Don't call him Dimon, investigation on other properties and residences used by Medvedev and his family, including a 100-hectare (250-acre) domaine with vineyards and 17th-century villa in Tuscany, Italy.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 37.144.118.69 (talk) 19:33, 13 March 2017

Usnourced content needing source.
- In December 2005 Medvedev was named Person of the Year by Expert magazine, a limited Russian business weekly.[citation needed] He shared the title with Alexey Miller, CEO of Gazprom.[citation needed]
- However, given United Russia's near-total dominance of Russian politics it was given that Medvedev had effectively clinched the presidency when he was nominated as that party's candidate.[citation needed]
- According to John P. Willerton, the 2008 presidential elections and Medvedev's inauguration "represented an unprecedented moment in the over thousand-year history of the Russian state, as a politically strong and healthy 55-year-old president willingly turned powers to a similarly vigorous leader." At the time of the elections, Putin was at the height of his popularity. Given his substantial majority in the State Duma, Putin could have easily amended the constitution to allow him to serve a third consecutive term but did not.[citation needed]
- Although Putin also had a visible role during the conflict, such as hurrying home from the Beijing Olympics to meet refugees arriving from the conflict zone, it was Medvedev who made the key decisions, authorising the use of force and leading the peace negotiations.[citation needed]
- For Medvedev, the modernisation programme has become one of the most ambitious and important agendas of his presidency.[citation needed]
- In response to the largest demonstrations since the end of the Soviet Union[citation needed] – reported in over 60 cities across Russia in early December 2011 in response to widely reported alleged violations in parliamentary elections and the barring of opposition parties from them[citation needed] – President Medvedev has publicly ordered an investigation of fraud reports.[citation needed]
- During his first year as Prime Minister, Medvedev has presided over tough legislation against smoking in public places in Russia, increases in prices of alcoholic beverages, and stricter punishment for drunk drivers.[citation needed]
- On 14 June 2018 Medvedev announced government's intention to increase the retirement age (from 55/60 to 63/65).[citation needed]
- In October 2008, President Medvedev began posting a videoblog at the presidential website.[1] His videoblog posts have also been posted in the official LiveJournal community blog_medvedev since 21 April 2009 by the Kremlin administration.[citation needed]

Incorrect grammar in first paragraph
I believe in the sentence "Medvedev served as President of Russia from 2008 to 2012 and Prime Minister to Vladimir Putin from 2012 and 2020." The "and" between "2012" and "2020" should be replaced with a "to". I do not have permission to edit this page, so i would be very grateful if someone else would do it.
- Good spot, thanks. I've fixed that. Valenciano (talk) 15:05, 16 October 2020 (UTC)

You should rearrange and put the president title higher up on the list and then Prime Minister beneath it and then his current position below And replace the picture with all official portrait.
So here’s how it should go
Picture
President of Russia
Prime Minister of Russia
Current position

His last name ....
Surely Medvedev is DM's familiya, not a patronymic (which needs in Russian to end in -ovitch or -evitch and means "son of"). Maelli (talk) 18:38, 3 November 2022 (UTC)
correction
you got the part where you said about his predecessor, Putin, which putin is not his predecessor, putin is his successor, predecessor means something that came before, success means something that came after Birdistheword12 (talk) 02:51, 4 March 2023 (UTC)
