Requested move 30 October 2015

[edit]

DigitecDigitec Galaxus – The name of the company has changed from Digitec to Digitec Galaxus. The change has already been made in the german wikipedia article. The official name of the company is Digitec Galaxus AG (Source: https://www.digitec.ch/en/Wiki/528). The company name consists of the names of the two brands "Digitec" and "Galaxus". @Roland zh: The page is still missing meaningful sourcing and depends overmuch on primary sources regardless of whether the article is POV or not. Please replace those tags which you removed.

As to the POV tag phrases like "Digitec Galaxus claims to be Switzerland's online market leader in the fields of IT" and "products, service and support at moderate prices" and "The concept was successful, and was followed by several renovations to expand the warehouse and the sales area." which are completely un-sourced tell me it is pretty POV.

You should also merge the talk pages since there are at least two Talk:Digitec galaxus and Talk:Digitec Galaxus. JbhTalk 19:49, 30 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@User:Jbhunley: was partially 'confused' related to POV, as for instance that text intended to be quotations (not my personal opinion), and 3 of 7 references are renown third-side sources, etc. Was also 'confused' as, let's say cloned Digitec galaxus started today, you did also tagg in imho exatly the same way just hours ago, but not tagging as that was it is, a copy-paste of Digitec-Galaxus. From my side closing, as mentioned on Talk:Digitec galaxus minutes ago, bye, Roland zh (talk) 20:05, 30 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Comment:: hmm, honestly also {notability|Companies|date=October 2015}[1] – one of the most important Swiss home electonic distributor as per third-side references, revenue half a 'billion' CHF, part of Migros group etc, hmm – and definitely bye, Roland zh (talk) 20:29, 30 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Roland zh: I am sorry, I can not make out what you are trying to say above. The lines I quoted are from the article. They are uncited and non-neutral. The sources linked are mostly from the companies web site. There are only three that are not:
  1. This source [2] is a bare mention.
  2. This source [3] is a mere mention of a stock purchase.
  3. I can not locate a mention in this [4] source.
Notability requires documentation in independent reliable sources for establishing notability for companies WP:NORG requires both independence of coverage and depth of coverage. This article shows evidence of none of that - hence the tagging. JbhTalk 20:44, 30 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The sources now have been updated. 7 neutral sources have been integrated to the page. The article's neutrality now should not longer be disputed. Regarding the comments above: The source [5] provides a report about Marcel Dobler, who was one of the founders of the company. It can be found in the video report "Quereinsteiger auf dem Weg ins Bundeshaus" The source [6] does not only mention the stock purchase. It also provides information about the valuation and the voting right situation in the board of directors after the purchase of the shares from Migros. The source [7] compares the sales of the biggest online retailers in Switzerland and provides therefore sales numbers of each company. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Stefan Schiffmann (talkcontribs) 16:19, 13 November 2015 (UTC) Could someone please delete the neutrality issue? As already has been mentioned, the sources have been updated almost 3 weeks ago. All issues should be solved now.[reply]
