Skylanders Imaginators
[edit]At e3 2016, it was revealed that Crash Bandicoot as a characters would appear in Skylanders Imaginators as a character, to be specific, a Brawler class Life sensei. So, there should be at least something about it here.
Wrong order

What the heck?
[edit]Who is that a picture of? Not Crash!
I AGREE, wtf, that is NOT crash, i think we should put up an original screen shot of him kjlangkjl 00:47, 23 June 2007 (UTC)
It IS Crash! Radical just remoldeled him. I really like his new model! Josh Bandicoot 12:46, 3 November 2007 (UTC)
Crash dance merge

I agree, but I am too lazy to merge it right now, can someone else do it? --KoshySX7 02:52, 23 July 2006 (UTC)
too late. the crash dance article was eliminated.--Mickeynotmouse 03:21, 11 august 2006
Tawna is not a hero!
[edit]The table at the bottom of each of the character profiles is totally inaccuarate. Characters such as tawna should be put as neutral, and maybe even a villian. The only characters that should be in the hero section are Aku Aku, Crash, Coco, Crunch, Polar, Baby T Rex and Pura, the others should be neutral. Whenever I edit it properly some idiot always puts it back to the way it was. Also the villian section is not entirely accuarate.--Anonymous
- Tell me, how is Tawna evil at all?--Klaus Kratchet 04:10, 7 January 2006 (United States Western Pacific)
- K.K is right? Tawna is just some girl who needed Crash's help. People in Wikipedia are NOT idiots, and I think it should be okay that every one can have their own opinion, don't you, Anonymous?Coco 01:05, 12 June 2007 (UTC)
Appearances
[edit]I added the games not listed in the appearances section and Crash's role in them, but they are a bit bare at the moment, as I don't know much about the handheld games. If someone could help improve them, that would be great.

Nihongo template?
[edit]I was under the impression that this template was supposed to be used on pages for people, products, titles, etc. that were actually Japanese (Banjō Ginga, PlayStation, Metal Gear Solid, and so on). From what I can gather, Crash Bandicoot is not. So what is that doing here? I would just get rid of it, but first I'd rather know if there was something I'm missing. - DoubleCross 01:07, 5 February 2007 (UTC)
The Crash Bandicoot series is very popular in Japan, perhaps even more so than in America. In fact, it was the first Western platformer series to garner large success internationally. Besides, it wouldn't hurt to put in more information.Cat's Tuxedo 15:38, 5 February 2007 (UTC)
- So I'm not missing anything. After reading the Manual of Style on Japan-related articles, the template definitely does not seem to belong, so I'm just going to get rid of it. And if it is about including more information, maybe someone can put up a table or infobox with the character's name in as many languages as possible. (Oops - forgot the page was protected. I guess I get around to that when I get around to that, then.) - DoubleCross 05:47, 6 February 2007 (UTC)
Change photo

Goldeneye cameo
[edit]I'd really like to see a clear picture of this so called Crash getting tortured. I can see some kind of generic animal in it, but it's a HUGE stretch to assert it's definitely Crash. 75.153.231.20 01:13, 8 August 2007 (UTC)

Allergy to Bees
[edit]Crash is allergic to bees. Why isn't this on it? 65.30.24.3 02:00, 2 September 2007 (UTC)
Just because it's true doesn't mean it should automatically be on the article. Besides, we don't have anywhere to put it. Cat's Tuxedo 02:52, 2 September 2007 (UTC)
When the crap did this happen? Crash was never allergic to bees. Angry Sun 21:14, 9 October 2007 (UTC)
- One of his character deaths in Crash 2 had him coming out in giant swelling when bees are the culprit of the assault. This can be seen in the stages "Bee-Having" and "Diggin' It". Freqrexy 22:32, 9 October 2007 (UTC)
That can happen to anyone. It usually just happens for comedy relief. If he was allergic I'm sure someone would have said so. Angry Sun 05:07, 11 October 2007 (UTC)
why can't the image be changed?
[edit]there's nothing on wiki saying its not allowed its got licensing and fair use rational can someone help pleese the image is image:Crash titans 4.PNG.--Kingdom of crash and spyro 10:02, 16 September 2007 (UTC).
- We have already explained in in-depth detail about the image. Let me echo my hypotheses here.
- Firstly, the Fair Use rationale is stated for use for the wrong article. You claim it's for this one but it really states it's for Crash of the Titans for some reason (which it isn't allowed there anyway as the only types of images that are really allowed on game articles are box art and screenshots).
- Secondly, that's not how you do a Fair Use Rationale. Look at that Pong screenshot I pointed out to you ages ago - THAT is a good example of how a Fair Use Rationale should be layered out. Otherwise, the image risks a chance of speedy deletion.
- And finally, the image just won't work either way. As CBFan said in earlier revisions of the article, it has been heavily modified, and according to the guidelines on Non-free content, the image would be deemed as "unacceptable" under the counts of points 2 and 12 in the Unacceptable image list (cropping an image doesn't work, and neither does replacing images of active icons unless necessary).
- That bolded part is most important in giving out a reason on why it won't work. I don't care if you tend to go for "poster quality" but even if you do perfect it well, Wiki doesn't tolerate images that are bigger than one megapixel (roughly 333x333 pixels if we're looking at a square image), so "poster quality" images don't work anyway.
- Please tell me that you now understand why we are not accepting the image in the article. Freqrexy 10:13, 16 September 2007 (UTC)
ithink so il try to do that but the other image has been edited as well and the images on the sonic the hedgehog seris hav been modifide and the one i did hasn't been modifide hevily.--Kingdom of crash and spyro 10:42, 16 September 2007 (UTC).
- Yes it has. It can clearly be seen that a background was in the original Crash image and was removed, hence heavy modifications. I don't know what you mean by the Sonic ones, but the images of Sonic in Sonic the Hedgehog (character) didn't have a background to begin with, were cited from various sites and look fine to look at, and in Sonic the Hedgehog (series) the self-created ring and power-up box images are actually of very good quality and can never be accomplished in Paint. Freqrexy 10:55, 16 September 2007 (UTC)
aculy heavily modified means using more than 1 tool i only used 1 tool free form select so no it hasn't been heavily but its all water under the bridge.--Kingdom of crash and spyro 16:13, 17 September 2007 (UTC).
No it doesn't. And, just for a pointer, the word you're looking for is "actually". CBFan 16:38, 17 September 2007 (UTC)
- And to back that up, heavy modification means intense removal of the original still image's content regardless of how many tools are used, and in the case of what you did, the pixelated "free form select" you did classifies the image as a heavy modification. A screen capture doesn't affect the overall outcome of the image at all. Freqrexy 17:11, 17 September 2007 (UTC)
- when's the page ghona be unlocked,im wandering.--Kingdom of crash and spyro 14:34, 5 October 2007 (UTC).
- Do you promise not to change the image when the page becomes unlocked? Freqrexy 15:10, 5 October 2007 (UTC)
- when's the page ghona be unlocked,im wandering.--Kingdom of crash and spyro 14:34, 5 October 2007 (UTC).
well when you fink about it the new one is allowed, but im not but i fought you would off probaly saying you maid it aswell.--Kingdom of crash and spyro 10:23, 6 October 2007 (UTC).
- I'm sure there will be a place for that image, but for the time being, the Crash character article is not where it belongs. It may take some time, but I'm sure a home will be found for it.
- Regardless, since you haven't done any rash edits relating to images in the past month, I suppose I'll request for unprotection. But if you DO change the image again, then you'll be undergoing some serious consequences. Freqrexy 12:02, 6 October 2007 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:CrashBandicootInTitans.PNG
[edit]Image:CrashBandicootInTitans.PNG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

[edit]Recently, I've experienced a problem on one particular website, and I don't know if anyone else has experienced the same problem, but lately I have TRIED to reach that Crash Mania website found under "External Links" at the bottom of the page, and I have not been able to even get into the site anymore. I wonder if that external link should be removed in this case? I don't know... And I wonder if maybe there should be more references, I DO NOT want this article to get deleted!!!

This article's placement in the Animal superheroes category
[edit]The definition of superhero is "a benevolent fictional character with superhuman powers". Does Crash specifically possess any superhuman powers? ~ P*h3i (📨) 07:12, 25 April 2018 (UTC)

[edit]The current voice of Crash
[edit]In the latest trailer for Crash Bandicoot: On the Run!, it seems like Jess Harnell is still voicing Crash. As an aside, Debi Derryberry confirmed months ago that she also worked on the game & previous builds of the games reused voices from the N. Sane Trilogy & Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled. This is still true for some of the bosses. Someone has already edited the VA list, but should that be left unchanged or should Scott Whyte & Jess Harnell both be listed as "present" voices? Monsieur X (talk) 02:08, 7 March 2021 (UTC)
- I think we should wait until the next big game and see what happens there. If Whyte's established as the new mainline Crash at that point, I see no issue with making him the "present" one. Cat's Tuxedo (talk) 02:21, 7 March 2021 (UTC)
Semi problem
[edit]Part from Wikiproject. I was surprised that the Facebook source still remains until I removed it today. But yeah, the article kinda needs a bit hands. There are a lot of sources that can be implemented at the article (Reception section specifically) from refideas here, several unsourced statements and quotes from the sources should be removed. Just a note here, not planning to send it to GAR since the author is a talented editor. Only this and Charizard are the problem with GA character articles; the latter would be fixed by another user in several days. 🥒Greenish Pickle!🥒 (🔔) 08:21, 28 April 2024 (UTC)
- I'll try to find some time this week or the next to look these sources over and see what I can add or fix. Cat's Tuxedo (talk) 17:26, 28 April 2024 (UTC)
