Brad Wardell Litigation
[edit]What about the sexual harassment lawsuit and the lawsuit where he bought Star Control 3's IP, and tried to use it to swipe Star Control 1 + 2's IP from its owners? 2600:1702:3163:8910:7C97:85A5:F292:F2BD (talk) 17:38, 18 April 2024 (UTC)
- There was a previous discussion on the sexual harassment lawsuit. It was determined it is not noteworthy as it not only didn't make it to trial it didn't make it to the end of discovery with the plaintiff required to write a public apology letter. Covering it would require covering the plaintiff who is not a public figure. It could be used as a larger discussion about the reputational damage of false accusations if that is what you are getting at.
- The second topic is covered extensively in the Star Control wiki entry and would be a Stardock, not Wardell topic. Additionally, Stardock acquired the Star Control trademark along with the copyrights to Star Control 3 and elements of Star Control 1 and 2. The dispute between Stardock and Reiche involved how to split the IP which ended with both parties settling the case with booze. ERegion (talk) 14:47, 26 August 2024 (UTC)
