Talk:Bomberman Land (Wii)
Could someone update this article?
[edit]I've already taken the time to update it a bit by adding the latest release date (March 2007 in Japan) and added a trivia section, I also added a link to the game's page on IGN!
But this article needs a new picture, and a better update on the main info section!
But I'll see what I can do. --Hero of legend 16:08, 28 November 2006 (UTC)
Could someone replace the current pic with this new one please?
[edit]Here's a pic I took of the title screen from the Nintendo World build!

I can't seem to upload pics onto Wikipedia, so that's why I need someone who can!
Also, I've updated the page with the final Japanese release date, and the final Japanese name as well! Which means that I also moved the page so that it's now called Bomberman Land Wii!
Thanks! --Hero of legend 18:55, 20 December 2006 (UTC)

Bomberman Land PSP

VGA / HDTV
[edit]Has anyone tried to play this on a monitor or HDTV? Does it support 480p? I thought all Wii games did (unlike gamecube) but this doesn't work on my monitor. Is it a compatibility problem, so i should re-sell, or a broken disc, so i should return it?Yobmod (talk) 11:09, 11 September 2008 (UTC)
The name Bomberman Land was simply used in North America, and it was called Bomberman Land Wii in Japan and the PAL regions. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A02:C7D:561D:1D00:5CE9:5695:6C0C:5472 (talk) 06:49, 15 October 2015 (UTC)

Bomberman Land (Wii) → Bomberman Land Wii – Bomberman Land Wii is the Japanese and European title. 2A02:C7D:564B:D300:3C1A:53BD:793E:CDDC (talk) 08:51, 9 July 2016 (UTC) --Relisting. Anarchyte (work | talk) 11:23, 17 July 2016 (UTC)
- "Bomberman Land" came first for English speaking language (2nd bullet in WP:NCVG#Games), but article with same name (Bomberman Land) already exists, so (Wii) had to come into place. Rukario-sama ^ㅈ^ -(...) 09:24, 9 July 2016 (UTC)
- Support move. "Bomberman Land Wii" is natural disambiguation without the need for a dab term, and there is certainly an argument that it's the common name. WP:NCVG does not require the first English name to be used. ONR (talk) 10:00, 10 July 2016 (UTC)
- Oppose. The above would be nice if true, but BLW appears to be a colloquial name because the sources/references used in the article just call it BL, making "(Wii)" a decent disambiguation from the original and from the PSP version. More likely than not all of these BL articles can be merged into a series article rather than languishing on their own. czar 01:47, 19 July 2016 (UTC)
- Oppose. I'm not seeing evidence that the title "Bomberman Land Wii" is in use in sources. None of the working links in the article use it.--Cúchullain t/c 16:14, 26 July 2016 (UTC)
