480p output claim
[edit]I'm not sure where the claim of 9th Style's home version supporting 480p comes from. It was a rather large complaint from the IIDX community that the home versions did not support progressive scan, and thus had visual lag on some HDTVs. Also, all of the US games I have that support 480p have Progressive Scan on the back of their boxes. While I cannot verify this for Japanese games (due to having no understanding of the language, and only having music games as imports), I suspect the case is the same. Looking at the back of my 9th Style case, I can identify the following items:
1-2 players, PS2 memory card: 155KB, Various controller support information, Publisher and developer website
Also, there is no Progressive Scan option within the 9th Style option area (the option names are all English, so it shouldn't be difficult to find if present). All games I have that support 480p have it in their options menu. --Thunderbird8 (talk) 00:26, 4 August 2008 (UTC)
- And one more thing...sure, 9th's graphics were higher res than previous styles...but this is clearly noticeable in 480i (and as I recall, the arcade hardware for the previous styles was Playstation based, which led to the lesser graphics), so that's not a sufficient claim for 9th supporting 480p. --Thunderbird8 (talk) 00:29, 4 August 2008 (UTC)

Infobox image caption
[edit]The image does not appear to be a "title screen" as the caption currently claims. It is probably cropped from a promotional flyer for the arcade version or box art for the home version, but which is it? --SoledadKabocha (talk) 17:54, 4 August 2020 (UTC)
- Yes, I am aware that in this context, CS = Consumer Software = home version, but I just wanted to cover all the bases. --SoledadKabocha (talk) 20:35, 4 August 2020 (UTC)
