Chart
[edit]The chart at the bottom of the article gives lots of colourful bits but there is absolutely no information as to the meaning of the different colours used. There needs to be some key for it to be useful. Keith D (talk) 16:10, 25 July 2010 (UTC)
- Just using different colors for each league, and similar colors for similar leagues (D1/D2/no division Northern, for instance). Legend is above the colors. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Wmcduff (talk • contribs) 16:46, 25 July 2010 (UTC)
- Oh, wait, I get what you mean. Moment. - Wmcduff (talk) 19:04, 25 July 2010 (UTC)
- Is that better? I could label the colors, I suppose, but they're labelled just above the line. I did it that way so that when I have to use abbreviations like NLD1, sometimes you can look at a different spot to see the full name. - Wmcduff (talk) 19:14, 25 July 2010 (UTC)
- I suppose I could do something like what's on the page now instead, but did I take out the right information? - Wmcduff (talk) 01:44, 15 October 2010 (UTC)
Notable former players
[edit]All right, time for a big one. How are we going to define notable? WikiProject Non-league football has a discussion going on. I'm thinking that Ashington's page would be a good start, though mostly the last section, those that were famous Ashington players, rather than famous players from Ashington or Ashington players who went on to play in the Football League. The old notable section is archived below until I can figure out what to do with it. - Wmcduff (talk) 10:53, 20 October 2010 (UTC)
Old Notable former players
[edit]- Patrick O’Connell
- Albert Stubbins
- Steve Harmison (who went on to play cricket for England)
- Ray King
- Bob Morton
Stadium
[edit]There appears to be some problem with the links to maps for the two stadiums mentioned in the stadium section. Keith D (talk) 17:32, 26 October 2010 (UTC)

Ashington no longer have a ladies team. The only ladies team in Ashington are Ashington Woodhorn Lane Ladies, who are not affiliated with Ashington Community FC in any way, though they have a friendly relationship. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2.28.116.44 (talk) 17:36, 12 December 2013 (UTC)

Record Attendance

Underneath "Records" and under "Record Attendance" there should be a record attendance for the new ground "Woodhorn Lane" as there is for the old ground Portland Park. This record was 1,424 in the FA Cup Third Qualifying Round replay on 4 October 2022.[1] JoeWren (talk) 21:57, 4 October 2022 (UTC)
