Name

[edit]

The names may be changed to be closer to the Japanese version if the British release comes. WhisperToMe 01:22, 3 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The European version came out, and the translation follows that of the previous titles - that is, the original names have been left intact. As two out of the three versions of the game have the original names, I reversed the order of "US Name (Japanese name in JPN/EU version)" in the article. MR CAN'T BE BOTHERED TO REGISTER 15/4/07

I tried to remove all "you" references and replace them with "the player" where appropriate and rework sentences elsewhere. I also removed all instructions on how to execute moves, but left their descriptions--Wikipedia is not a walkthrough site. Some of the wordings of sentences are now different; I tried to make it less conversational. This is a very thorough article, though, so props to whoever wrote it. Some of this may need to be referenced, though. Thathollygirl 17:05, 16 August 2006 (UTC).[reply]

Ape Escape 4

[edit]
  • Some gamers think there will be the forth game installment for Ape Escape series, featuring new characters in the game. It would be Ape Escape 4.

Actually the game is called Ape Escape: Million Monkeys and it is come in December 2006. PrestonH October 7th 2006 03:03 (UTC)

I do believe both are true - Ape Escape: Million Monkeys is coming out in 2006, and Ape Escape 4 has been mentioned that it's eventually coming. However, Ape Escape: Million Monkeys is not the fourth installment, as it is considered a spin-off more than anything, while Ape Escape 4 has not been formally announced, but has been said to "definitely be coming" and will come to the PS3. - A Link to the Past (talk) 17:59, 18 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Similarities between Kei and Yumi's morphwatches and Ben 10's omnitrix

[edit]

They turn the user into different kinds of super-powered characters.
Their energy runs out after a while and turns the user back into their original form.
They are worn on the left wrist.
They recharge after a while and they each have green faces when they are fully charged. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 196.207.32.37 (talk) 16:32, 9 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

SAL-3000 and Ape Ratchet

[edit]

Is the game different to UK's version? I'll admit I haven't played this game, but is it really a deal to name it SAL-3000 in US and UK Ape Ratchet? I am referring to the rare monkeys. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Themurkyone (talkcontribs) 01:59, 3 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I guess it is a deal. I heard Ape Ratchet only appears in the Japanese and the UK versions and is replaced by SAL-3000 in the US version. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 196.207.32.37 (talk) 20:26, 24 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Inspired by the Gex trilogy?

[edit]

I have had this theory that Ape Escape 3 was based on the Gex trilogy, as it has a similar story plot to that of the Gex games (more specifically, the use of the untapped evil power of television). Anyone agree with me on that theory? Visokor (talk) 21:11, 28 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
