Pronunciation
[edit]I'm not an IPA expert, so I'm not entirely sure that I properly defined Actimagine's pronunciation. In non-IPA format, I would've written it as oct-i-ma-jeen. ~MDD4696 02:39, 6 March 2006 (UTC)
Purchase By Adobe?
[edit]I read a while ago somewhere that Adobe had purchased Actimagine, but I can't seem to find the article. Can anyone confirm this? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jdhenry (talk • contribs) 16:46, 30 September 2007 (UTC)
- I do not believe this to be true. ~MDD4696 17:43, 19 June 2008 (UTC)
Actimagine Ownership in 2008
[edit]As far as I know, the company is privately owned, although they may be going through a round of venture-capital funding. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.7.112.76 (talk • contribs) 21:25, 5 June 2008
- Can someone update this? The offical company name is Mobiclip, and apparently they are now owned by Nintendo. 108.208.102.9 (talk) 05:31, 12 February 2012 (UTC)
PROD and Notability
[edit]I removed a ton of market-speak and the prod notice. The company is small but it sells its technology to quite a few very well-known companies, so I believe it is notable by association. Also I think the references at the bottom are sufficient third party news sources, per Wikipedia:Notability (organizations and companies). ~MDD4696 17:43, 19 June 2008 (UTC)
- Actually, I don't see a single third-party news source listed (press releases don't count). Could you please be more specific about what non-trivial coverage you've found by independent reliable sources? Thanks. — Satori Son 17:52, 19 June 2008 (UTC)
- Hmm I guess I got confused between press releases and third-party news... ~MDD4696 15:25, 20 June 2008 (UTC)
Name change
[edit]It hasn't been called Actimagine in years. Apparently is has been changed to Nintendo's NERD division (Nintendo European Research & Development France).. So should the article be renamed that? I feel so, so this should be official consensus for the name change. I, quite obviously, say yes Umbreon00 (talk) 23:40, 10 January 2013 (UTC)
French Aritcles
[edit]I changed the redirects to the English Version of the articles but it still needs work to have the redirects land on the right space in the article. Anyone can complete this work? 107.216.116.49 (talk) 01:57, 21 September 2020 (UTC)

Wii U Chat
[edit]- What I think should be changed: Unsourced statement of contribution to the Wii U Chat should be removed.
- Why it should be changed: Nintendo European Research & Development did not contribute to this software package.
- References supporting the possible change: The closest existing reference[1] makes no mention of the company but correctly credits Nintendo Software Technology and Vidyo.
