Thanks
[edit]Wow, thanks for all the help guys from Reddit and other RT fans! Almost ready for submission for review... EoRdE6 (talk) 15:26, 20 October 2014 (UTC)
- Is it really, though? The "Video series" section needs major copyediting, and the article itself needs more references; the "History and development" section only has seven references, which is definitely not enough. I'll try and track down some more references over the coming week or so. -- Rhain1999 (talk to me) 20:40, 20 October 2014 (UTC)
Lack of citations
[edit]While I do personally believe that the content should merit it's own article it is a large issue regarding this articles sources, a lot of the content for that matter is unsourced, which means readers will see this as mostly as original research. I will back up this article that it should be separate from the rooster teeth article but it will also need more added to it, I'd like to offer help but I've recently moved to university so my times kinda taken up. SilentDan (talk) 21:36, 21 October 2014 (UTC)
- I completely agree. While I think both the article and the topic are up to the rules of WP:N, there is a severe lack of sources. I'm going to try and hunt some down in the coming weeks, though. -- Rhain1999 (talk to me) 07:28, 22 October 2014 (UTC)
Semi-Protection Request
[edit]People are changing this page like crazy, most likely in an attempt to confuse people who are searching for information for the Extra Life Stream. Any way we could get this semi-protected, at least for 24 hours? Haon 2.0 (talk) 22:03, 25 October 2014 (UTC)
- Yeah that was really weird... Definitely keep an eye out for this stuff around big events (ie. RTX). Also, next time post requests at Wikipedia:Requests for page protection, so they can get admin attention. EoRdE6 (talk) 18:24, 29 October 2014 (UTC)
Unacceptable promotional content
[edit]A 35k article essentially promoting a website cannot be based on a few mentions on Gawker and assorted sites. We are not a business directory either. The fact that TrueCRaysball disagrees with my previous pruning doesn't make that pruning controversial. I will revert, and will note that this isn't so much a content dispute as an edit taken to preserve the integrity of Wikipedia, that we not be abused as a promotional vehicle. Drmies (talk) 21:57, 8 August 2015 (UTC)
- A list of shows and time line of members isn't "promotional". Maybe cruft, but not promotional. TrueCRaysball | #RaysUp 22:06, 8 August 2015 (UTC)
- Agreed. I can see how its inclusion could be seen as promotional alongside other promotional content, but it isn't inherently "advertising"/promotional to include it. That said, I do think it's a bit overly detailed and inherently unsustainable to include a full list of every show AH has every made in this article, as it will easily overwhelm the rest of the article if continued. Here to help
[edit]I am doing a school project where we are to edit a Wikipedia page and to have interactions with other editors. Our overall goal is to develop a greater understanding of Wikipedia’s strengths and weaknesses as a research tool. I have done some editing here already about Let's Play Live, and if you think there is more to add can you please help by letting me know? Tyler4564 (talk) 18:18, 9 May 2016 (UTC)
Hello & Helping Out
[edit]Hey everyone, I've been assigned this article to work on for an editing class, and I wanted to introduce myself to you as well as seek your advice on edits to this page. I've noticed that the page needs verification for its sources and that some of the information in the Achievement Hunter § Let's Play Live! section could be moved to the main page like tour dates. Let me know what you think; I'm excited to hear back from you Allonsyalyssa (talk) 15:25, 1 March 2019 (UTC)
- So far I have added a reference to Fiona's hiring, and I am planning on deleting the Let's Play Live! event dates and moving them to the main Let's Play Live page. I am also going to be adding the AH Live tour dates as well. Allonsyalyssa (talk) 22:31, 8 March 2019 (UTC)
