Articles for storms?
[edit]Does anyone think there are anymore necessary articles for this years storms? The ones with articles right now are Agatha, Blas, Bonnie, Javier, Kay, Orlene, and Roslyn. Lester is a draft. Storms I could see needing a articles if more info is found could be
- Celia: Affected 28,000 people and killed 1 person
- Estelle: Long-lived, brought rain and impact to Mexico.
- Madeline: 3 deaths and impact to Mexico.
That’s my opinion though. Hurricane Su (talk) 16:49, 8 November 2022 (UTC)
- I agree with Celia and Madeline, though unless you find enough info on Estelle, an article is not necessary. Hurricane Chandler (talk) 19:55, 8 November 2022 (UTC)
- If you think a storm deserves an article than do some research on it, and make an article if it meets notability requirements. You don't have to ask others to do it.2600:1702:D90:29A0:7113:832F:4C79:6EBA (talk) 22:06, 8 November 2022 (UTC)
- RE:Celia, the Celia TCR notes that "a surge of low-level moisture that crossed Central America on 12 June," caused the flooding. Thus saying that Celia affected 28,000 people in Guatemala is inaccurate; the relief.web source cited in this article doesn't even make such a claim. That said, if you think you could write a reasonably sized (15–20 kb) article on the documented notable impacts of any of these storms, an article might be worth pursuing. Information concerning Hurricane Roslyn death toll
[edit]The section on Hurricane Roslyn reports at least three deaths while the Season Effects part reports four. Tajjc (talk) 18:40, 11 November 2022 (UTC)
- As the citation in the section says '3' I will change the table number to match. Drdpw (talk) 18:52, 11 November 2022 (UTC)
- I just noticed that the article on Hurricane Roslyn also says four but the citation reports three. Tajjc (talk) 20:48, 11 November 2022 (UTC)
- I actually found the source for the four deaths reported for Hurricane Roslyn. Tajjc (talk) 22:24, 13 November 2022 (UTC)
