I have commented out the content of this section, pending discussion of whether: 1. It should be summarised more succinctly as there is already a main article; 2. It should be removed with only a link to the main article, as there may be precedent for this, looking at other international sporting event articles; 3. Delete the main article as a fork and improve the content at this article. Other solutions also welcome. Kingsif (talk) 20:44, 29 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Delete the lot. The majority of the contents of all such sections and articles are simply descriptions of people whining about things they don't like, or people making political points. NOT encyclopaedic. HiLo48 (talk) 01:40, 30 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Why has no article been created currently regarding the opening ceremony I would have thought it would have been started by now. Also can a new photo of the Alexandra Stadium please be uploaded now it’s renovations have been completed. (MOTORAL1987 (talk) 21:46, 1 August 2022 (UTC))[reply]
It would be unusual to have a standalone article on the opening ceremony, and photos have to be free to use (can't just pick a new one!) except in certain circumstances. Please familiarise yourself with Wikipedia editing before making other requests like these. Kingsif (talk) 21:10, 8 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
