Thank you KaraLG84 for your work on Wikipedia!

[edit]

It was wonderful getting to speak with you yesterday and I’m very happy to have you as part of our wikiBlind team. Ask questions anytime, and if we don’t reply quick;y, ask on any other platform. Still getting used to the many inboxes involved!

And here are some cookies for you! Is there a good image description with the picture? What I see is a plate full of big cookies. What are your favorite types of cookie?

Cookies!

DrMel has given you some cookies! Cookies promote WikiLove and hopefully this one has made your day better. You can spread the "WikiLove" by giving someone else some cookies, whether it be someone you have had disagreements with in the past or a good friend.

To spread the goodness of cookies, you can add {{subst:Cookies}} to someone's talk page with a friendly message, or eat this cookie on the giver's talk page with {{subst:munch}}!

Aww you're welcome Mel and thanks for the cookies. The pic says "Cookies on a doily.jpg" which is good enough I guess.

My favourites are probably Hobnobs

I must remember to sign comments as folk won't know who left messages so here goes.--KaraLG84 (talk) 15:14, 30 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Happy Valentine’s Day my friend!

[edit]
It’s a maze of twisty passages all around here. Sometimes it’s hard to feel appreciated. This Heart-shaped Labyrinth is to say Thank YOU, Wikipedian, for all your hard work!!! from Me to YOU. I appreciate your work. I really do.

Looking forward to catching up again soon! WhatsApp ping me anytime! Send me your mailing address so I can send you your very own tactile heart-shaped labyrinth! I’m hoping you’ll love it. I just finished making it a couple days ago. It’s fun to touch! DrMel (talk) 07:53, 14 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

A barnstar for you!

[edit]
The Copyeditor's Barnstar
For all the unthanked work you’ve done over the years. Its common for copyeditors to rack up thousands of edits in one "niche" using automated tools, but you've helped in a lot of ways from adding shortdescs to working on categories to reformatting. Thank you. Mach61 (talk) 05:22, 11 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2024 Elections voter message

[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 2 December 2024. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2024 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:39, 19 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
