Criteria for including the games?

[edit]

I would like to know which are the criteria for including a game or if is just up to the editor's memory? For example "the dungeon of naheulbeuk" is not in the released game list, is a matter of not getting enough coverage or....? 194.79.211.232 (talk) 13:38, 30 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

A game must have a reliable source (one that meets WP:VG/S) or its own standalone article that shows it was or will be out in the 2020 period (for this page). As we're not tracking every game possible, there are games that get overlooked so as long as you can source it, it can be added. --Masem (t) 13:49, 30 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Change 'top-rated games with a 90 or above score' to 'top-rated games with an 88 or above score'

[edit]

For top-rated games, I would like the limit to change from 90 to 88. Why? Because there is such a small amount of games on that list, so if there was a smaller limit, many more critically-acclaimed and popular games like Doom Eternal, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2, and Dreams could be on the list. — Preceding unsigned comment added by PS4Fanboy1232 (talkcontribs) 16:19, 21 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

No, we aren't going to change that arbitrarily to include additional games. We want to stay consistent. --Masem (t) 18:24, 21 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Proposal

[edit]

For the game releases section why is the publisher listed but not the developer? Surely if we include one of the two, we should include the other as well. The developer is more important than the publisher, or at the very least they are of similar importance. It seems very off to have one but not the other and there is certainly enough room for both. It is my proposal that we add a developer column to the game releases tables. Helper201 (talk) 18:23, 6 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
