John Andrew Dominic Grady[2] is a British Labour Party politician who has been the Member of Parliament (MP) for Glasgow East since the 2024 general election.[3]

Pre-Political Career

Before standing as a candidate in the 2024 United Kingdom general election, John was a Partner at Shepherd and Wedderburn, and a Commercial and Regulatory Solicitor at ScottishPower.[4]

Personal life

John is married to Glasgow City Council Councillor Jill Brown; they have two children, a daughter and a son. He has a Diploma in Legal Practice from The University of Edinburgh and a post-graduate Diploma in Competition Law from King's College, University of London.[4]
