Encyclopedia articles need to be written from a neutral point of view, and should refer to a range of independent, reliable, published sources, not just to materials produced by the creator of the subject being discussed. This is important so that the article can meet Wikipedia's verifiability policy and the notability of the subject can be established. If you still feel that this subject is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, please rewrite your submission to comply with these policies. - Comment: No evidence of notability. I should probably be rejecting this, but let's give it one more chance in case better sources suddenly can be found. DoubleGrazing (talk) 09:33, 27 August 2024 (UTC)
- Comment: this merely tells us evreything that the company would like us to know, articles should report on what reliable independent sources have said. Still many un sourced paragraphs, paid editors need to do the work they are being paid for. Theroadislong (talk) 06:22, 8 August 2024 (UTC)
- Comment: Celebrity PR pieces and shom.com.my links are not the independent coverage we're looking for. Stuartyeates (talk) 08:44, 1 December 2023 (UTC)
- Comment: There are significant parts of this article that read like an advertisement and large chunks of the history and Corporate Social Responsibility that are unsourced and probably don't belong. Naraht (talk) 03:52, 1 December 2023 (UTC)

Sahajidah Hai-O Marketing Sdn Bhd (SHOM) is a Malaysian multi-level marketing (MLM) company specializing in the sale of wellness, skincare, cosmetics, body shaping lingerie, personal care, auto care, garden care, and household products. The company was established in 1992 by the late Mr Tan Kai Hee as a subsidiary of Hai-O Group of Companies and is based in Klang, Selangor.[1]
History
[edit]Founding
[edit]Sahajidah Hai-O Marketing Sdn Bhd (SHOM), a subsidiary of BESHOM Holdings Bhd, was established in 1992 by Tan Kai Hee. Initially operating from an office in the Sun Complex, Kuala Lumpur, SHOM was officially launched on 17 September 1992. In 1996, the parent company, Hai-O Group, was listed on the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange (BSKL).
In 2001, to centralize operations, the Hai-O Group moved to Wisma Hai-O in Klang. Later, in 2009, SHOM relocated its headquarters and warehouse to a larger facility in Jalan Kapar.
Member of DSAM
[edit]Sahajidah Hai-O Marketing (SHOM) became a member of the Direct Selling Association of Malaysia (DSAM) in 1994, following the enforcement of the Direct Selling Act in 1993.[2] Since then, the company has complied with the Act's provisions.
The late Mr. Tan Kai Hee, founder of SHOM, was appointed as a committee member of DSAM in 1996.
Business Model
[edit]Sahajidah Hai-O Marketing (SHOM) operates using a direct selling and multi-level marketing (MLM) model. Distributors sell products directly to consumers and recruit others into the network. Earnings for distributors are based on retail sales and performance bonuses related to the sales volume of their recruited members, known as the 'downline.'
Local and International Expansion
[edit]SHOM expanded its operations across Malaysia, opening its first branch in Malacca in 1993, followed by a branch in Sabah, East Malaysia, in 1995. By 2009, SHOM had entered the Indonesian market by establishing PT. Hai-O Indonesia in Jakarta, and later expanded to Singapore and Brunei.
Brands and Products
[edit]SHOM's product portfolio includes various brands established since the company's inception. These brands encompass a range of consumer goods such as Min Kaffe, Marine Essence, Infinence, Cozuma, Nurich®, Premium Beautiful, JTX, Bio Velocity, Sahajidah Garam Buluh, Sweetality, Beijing Tong Ren Tang, Eziclean, Ezigrow, D'Chef, Bio Ever Plus, Bio-Evolve, Prolicious, BioCleanz, ShakeMe, Min Cha, AiryVentz, and SaRang.
Min Kaffe
[edit]Min Kaffe, originally launched as 'Mineral Coffee,' was rebranded in 2016. It is a coffee blend combining Robusta coffee beans with bamboo salt from Korea. In 2019, Min Kaffe received the BrandLaureate SMEs Best Brands Award for Best Brands in Consumer – Premium Coffee.[3][4] The brand was updated in 2021 with enhanced ingredients.
Infinence®
[edit]Infinence®, launched in 2016 with consulting support from Professor Datuk Jimmy Choo, is a luxury brand under SHOM. The brand debuted during SHOM's 25th Anniversary in 2017 and has expanded to include various collections, including skincare products and fashion items showcased during Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week 2018.[5][6]
